Firehouse Subs Oxford — Restaurant in Oxford

Went in 8:21pm. 4 people ahead of me. Placed order. Everyone got their food and left. Suddenly one sandwich making worker disappeared to the back while the other 2 and cashier swept and cleaned up behind the counter. 8:37pm two young ladies entered to pickup online orders. 8:43 another young lady enters and places an order and gets her order at 8:47pm. I threw my hands in the air in frustration since I had been there 25 mins prompting a "What did you order?" From apparently the person in charge. They all acted confused.. like you haven't walked by half a dozen times or more and seen me sitting waiting. Not once did you ask "Sir what did you order?,," or maybe "Sir can I help you?"

Hadn't had Firehouse in 3 yrs. Super excited cuz I love the food. Super disappointed. I guess if you're an attractive female you get your food but if you're a guy they could care less. I asked for a refund and left. You can't apologize when you walked by and looked at me knowing I was waiting and basically refused to make my food.

I should say the place was pathetically dirty. I'm sure they were busy but the floor was disgusting. Young man dropped rag on the floor then picked it up and started wiping...

Firehouse subs is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at or pick up a quick bite. The service provided is always good as well the vegetables are always fresh and I like the subs are heated as well toasted if you choose. My favorite sub is the Italian sub. The Italian sub comes with different meats and great fresh vegetables you surely will get full off of a firehouse sub sandwich. Their subs are full of numerous of great ingredients such as vegetables and different sauces and flavors. There’s also different meat choices to choose from. Date of visits 10/21 & 10/23 2019. Anyone familiar with my reviews would recognize I like sub sandwiches. Firehouse is my favorite sub location and I took my mother there for lunch. I ordered a full-size Hero cut in thirds and we shared it. mom raved about it, but I was surprised when she asked if we could go back on 10/23. Subs are not her preference, but she liked the sandwich. I ordered the same, but somehow 'cut in thirds' became quarters. Oh well, it was still delicious and we made it work.
