Stopped in today to grab some gift wrap, and it quickly became a stressful time. I donāt blame the employees for this, Iām leaving this review to communicate to the management. Please either schedule more holiday help or stop loading excess merchandise onto the sales floor, because your employees are working themselves to death yet continue to struggle with an overwhelming workload. The entire center of the store was nearly impossible to navigate. Merchandise was literally everywhere, including all over the ground to the point that I could barely move my cart, as dozens of items became wedged under the wheels. Even carefully moving something aside on a rack led to piles of items collapsing back into the walk space. There were rolling carts of merchandise waiting to be shelved blocking several aisles, and those that were unobstructed were inaccessible if another customer happened to be standing there because the aisles are only wide enough for a single cart. Several times I would have to circle the entire aforementioned center just to move on to the one next to wherever I was done browsing. I blame the holiday crowd for the mess but I could tell the employees were working so hard but obviously spread too thin (I barely saw more than six to ten workers there the entire time) to keep everything organized. Not only was it an all around anxiety inducing experience but the building is uncomfortably hot like it was the last time I visited several years ago, something the management canāt be bothered to fix. I hope those in charge...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreYou can find higher end and name brand merchandise at much lower prices. I always go to TJ Maxx first for my perfume purchases. My brand of perfume at the department store will cost $80 and up but at TJ Maxx the same exact perfume cost $14.99. T J Maxx is always my first stop for handbags, bath, body and products, shoes and boots, pj's, clothes, workout wear, workout equipment, my daughter's clothing and toys, all things home, bath and kitchen and always that perfect gift that you need to pick. I always find new and exciting merchandise every time I go into TJ Maxx. They always have an excellent selection of picture frames, lamps, bedding (I recently purchased my Kate Spade comforter with matching shams, throw pillows and sheets for less than $40) bath towels, shower curtains and bathroom accessories, all things kitchen, unique furniture pieces, children's clothing and toys, mens wear, both dress and casual and much much more and at prices that you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas at T.J. Maxx earlier today. Was at checkout. They had 2 registers open, 2 cashiers at both however only 1 cashier was checking customers out. 1 of the cashiers was the store manager. She was busy talking to the customers at register2 and NOT CHECKING ANYONE OUT. There was a long line. My wife and I were next in line and we had stood for a very long time. The other customers behind us were asking the same question I had why have 2 registers when you only use 1 while the manager is chit chatting. I will think twice before I go there again. By the way I live in Sikeston, Missouri. Always liked to visit this store. They need to do an employee overhaul. I would give this store a BIG thumbs down. The T.J.Maxx we have in Cape could run circles around this...
