2 Stars for Cheyenne and 1 Star for Management and leadership of Office Depot-Paducah! The store deserves "0", I hope someone upline will read this so you understand I have to give the store a star just to bring this to anyone's attention!
Seriously, I shop Office Depot across the country in my travels. traditionally any previous need to patronize this location makes me ill, all the negativity, inadequate service or lack of service here puts me on edge!
Reflective of the signage on the counter as you approach the printing service desk that notifies you immediately before even asking that they are "12 orders ahead of you and 5 hours delayed" ...before you even ask and on opening the store location at 9am....Lol You got me on that one!
No wonder I have had a bad attitude walking in the door first thing in the morning..haha But the past few days have been a different experience all together! Why? Printer Service Representative Cheyenne! Please don't chase her away! I seriously don't want to patronize this location if I had it my way! Losing or chasing her away would only return the store location back to the bad experience I am all so familiar with here!
I'm heading to Corporate on this one! If you have ever read any of my reviews it's what I do.....👍👍👍
This nice Customer Service Representative is trying to man the busiest station in the business on opening, literally answering the stores incoming phone calls and us alone while the rest of the employees as I could observe were discussing their activities from the evening before or standing against a counter reading their text messages before jumping in to assist the young lady who honestly was a total professional and positive as could be with a smile and "Can do" attitude....! She needs to be in the leadership line for sure!
This is truly one of my like, guaranteed bad experience locations in America!!! Until, Cheyenne came on board to try to change the locations reputation!
Bravo!!! This review is for all your kindness, professionalism under pressure and completing my print job perfectly so I could take it to be mailed out on time!
My personal business in Kentucky is time based and demanding! I don't have 5 hours or wait for a print job or assistance with utilization of the self service printers for which still needed someone to come help me in the past visits!
I'm trying to get all my printing in before Cheyenne disappears, because as you can read in the reviews and what I've observed in the last two days still hasn't changed or won't get any better. Unless you specifically ask for assistance from this young lady to escape the delay or minimal scratches from approaching the rest of the staff if you can locate them...lol I'm being for real here! Seriously! I'm posting the counter photo just to prove and validate my frustration from planning another visit... Lol Cheyenne! Ask for her! Otherwise don't plan on getting out of there with a positive experience!
As stated in the beginning...if I could rate the employee alone she would get a 5! But, it doesn't work like that! The stores a 1!
This is my first start on the way to Corporate begging you to open your eyes and strive to step up your game to this employees level of service at this location!
Smart young lady that deserves more from her Management/team members than what she's getting!
Thank you Cheyenne for making our print jobs and the stores service appear what it could be!!!
This isn't a complaint. It's a review. A review about an exemplary single employee that is "Her own star" and leadership, teammates that are non-existent in her galaxy! Absent!
I don't actually like writing these reviews! This is only my first review of the next up the corporate ladder until someone notices that there needs to be change and leadership retrained to improve our future experiences...or in some cases a corporate head will call a draw...it happens. Facts are facts and facts don't have feelings!
But this is the best I can do to thank the young lady for taking the time to make my experience and day...
Read moreI was very disappointed. I brought my spiral bound book to the store to get pages copied to card stock. The same task was completed acceptably last year. However, when I picked them up I left without examining them first. Later, to notice they we turned and twisted-- copied poorly. Take note there was an additional fee allocated to the job for "HAND PLACEMENT" because it takes more time than feeding it automatically through the copier. Or I thought. When I complained I was told the job couldn't be completed unless I take it out of the binding. This was not the case last year. Sooooo, without argument I asked for my money back. I received the hand placement fee back and was told I would receive a receipt for the rest of the charges through my email. I verified my email address. Now, 10 hours later I don't have my refund. However, I did go to my school and personally complete the job Office Depot said could not be completed. It did take some extra time, that is why I took it to office Depot in the first place. I didn't want to spend the time. The most frustrating part of the experience was 1) that they told me it couldn't be done when it had been done previously and 2) that I didn't get my refund as promised. Note that the GM, Jonathan, walked up as I had begun my explanation and then took over on the copier to prove the job couldn't be completed. I didn't argue only asked for a refund. He lead me to believe I would receive it immediately but haven't yet. Again, the job I was prepared to pay for was completed that day but not by Office Depot. I am sharing this disappointing experience because I'm tired of our society saying "I cannot do something"-- because it may be more difficult than they want to handle. "Can't be done" wasn't a fair answer-- rather I don't want to put in the labor it will take to get the results you are asking for.-- would be more factual. Again, I hope that I teach individuals to do hard work even if you don't want to. I'm sure the owner of Office Depot will be disappointed in the situation but I feel he/she should know what's actually taking place in his/her store. --- Let's teach...
Read moreDo not use for any kind of FedEx shipping. I recently used this location to ship some archery equipment home through FedEx, since they where listed as a shipping center and it was right across the street from where I was staying. Not only did it take the kid behind the counter 15min to figure out the system but he also screwed up the information and listed the declared value of my $3200 bows and case as $0!! (So now I essentially have no insurance on it) By the time I caught the error, fedex had already picked it up. Promises where made by a manager to call fedex and remedy the situation. I ended up calling FedEx myself to confirm what I already knew, that you cant change shipping insurance once it ships. Have still never heard back from...
