If I could give 0 I would. It was my first time with my finance shopping for a suit. Upon entering the store, we were not greeted nor asked if we needed assistance. When I approached a gentleman whom I couldn’t tell was talking to a customer because no one is in uniform, he was very obviously disturbed by me asking politely if someone could please help us as it was our first time in. Funny was he wasn’t helping this gentleman find anything but talking about how marijuana doesn’t do him well. I moved on the ask another gentleman who was by far the youngest employee there for help. He was somewhat helpful but it was like pulling teeth to get anywhere and he wouldn’t ask questions to help us find the outfit we needed. The judgement and energy in the store is stale and negative. I quickly walked out, found exactly the same items at the mall. We were blessed with a whole suit for less than their rental price - and a way better customer service experience. To the staff: be careful who you treat incorrectly. You never who you’re actually dealing with so don’t be so quick to judge people who don’t look like you. I am a business owner and an artist in the Valley as is my fiancé.
The next question in customer service is: How can I...

I walked into Men’s Wearhouse and stood around for 20 minutes without a single greeting or offer of help. Not one. At one point, four employees were standing right at the front—still nothing. Just blank stares as if I didn’t exist.
When I finally went to the register with my item, I calmly expressed my frustration to the bald manager with large eyes (who refused to give me his name). Instead of an apology, he gave me an excuse—that he had been there since 8 a.m. with no break. I asked him how that was my fault, and he had nothing to say besides directing me to “contact corporate” when I asked for a business card. Nasty attitude, dismissive tone, and zero accountability. If this is the standard of leadership in that store, it’s no wonder the rest of the staff ignored me.
The only person who showed any basic professionalism was the cashier, who had a "he/him" button. He at least completed my transaction without being rude.

Read moreWe heard from the dry cleaners that my husband's favorite suit was full of holes from moths! It was kind of an emergency because he had a special presentation to give it only 3 days. I called Men's Wearhouse and asked them how much a new suit would be and over the phone they were nice enough to give me an estimate of between $300 to $400 for his size. I was really glad to get this round figure because it gave me an idea of what I was looking at as far as a budget and I went down the very next day and bought a suit for about $350 right exactly in the price range that they promised. It needed almost no alterations and they were so nice in helping us choose the right suit for the occasion. They happened to be having a nice sale on neckties while we were there so we grabbed a few of those as well. Highly recommended for quality and customer service. Many different sizes to choose from including big and tall sizes which you can't always find...
