Tea Be Honest — Restaurant in Palm Desert

I understand, Tea be honest just opened and problems do exist things don't go as smoothly. For a business that wants to stay open in the Coachella valley they should strive a little harder to complete orders in a timely manner and actually be kind to a customers who are new to their menu..which I believe to be a little vague and can cause misunderstanding. While working in the food/drink service questions will be asked by customers, but the girl at the counter didn't feel the need to answer questions and when she did it was applied with a pompous attitude. Maybe some customer service training courses are needed to handle guest in a proper manner. The employees who are supposed be hard at work making your drinks are too busy waiting on a blender which only two are available at a time and there is a line of people. So do the math you will be waiting forever..The employees seemed more concerned with turning up the music in the establishment which is a method use by individuals who don't care and want people out. I don't if they are trying to create a relaxing/calming ambiance but its the complete opposite feeling when you have the music blasting, again customer service skills are needed at this place. The drinks were bad mediocre at best my family and I waited a total of one hour for 4 different beverages which when we all felt were not great. Despite the experience we still tipped the employees but we will never return due to the poor service, bad drinks, just a bad experience I wouldn't put...

Great prices, best selection I’ve seen in town! And just outstandingly helpful but most of all friendly service! Then the boba drinks, amazing and also (to me) the best I’ve had in town! Nice plastic cups too. Almost reusable they are so strong. Someone said the boba was hard, it must have been an off batch because mine has been outstanding and fresh. Like very minimal pressure you can cut them in half with your front teeth fresh. It has that cooked at home home rolled boba ball taste you can’t get from the bagged stuff. Not sure if they make it themselves, and is unlikely because it’s such a laborious process but tastes like it to me. I’ve only had it fresh once before but it was game changing, and again this was close. Plus as an added bonus they have a veryyy reasonable if not straight up large portion of popcorn chicken with a great flavor and sauce for like $5 or $6 so if you’re a bit hungry it can be a quick one stop shop. Ok, enough gushing about them, and time to go drive to them and get a dirty milk, with double boba! I sold myself if not anyone else, haha. I really hope they make it. If you enjoy your little places like this spread the word so they stay in business. It’s hard out here, and I see wonderful little places like this dropping off the map far too often! I’ve been telling everyone I know to go here. Don’t take my word for it...

What can I say, I love passionate people & this place puts passion into their deliverable to the extreme. You will know after that first sip. Absolutely perfect tea and perfect boba here. I can tell after 3 drinks now that they use only the finest, highest quality ingredients in their drinks. Perfectly brewed tea, perfectly prepared boba.... This team are true artisans and I cant stress enough how it is reflected in their drinks. I will continue to patron here, as of this review I have had 3 drinks in 2 days as follows;

Galaxy Passion Fruit - incredible flavor, smooth and delicious.

Matcha latte - forget what you know about matcha lattes, you can taste absolute unwavering quality with this one.

Honey Jasmin Green Tea w/ fresh milk - my signature go to. I asked and they delivered exactly what I expected... Jasmin green tea sweetened with Honey at 80% sweetness level, a splash of milk, and boba. The tea is brewed perfectly, so smooth with rich flavor. The honey is not just honey, again its absolute quality honey, I dont know about everyone but I can certainly taste a difference. Finished with again, the best boba you can get anywhere... Japan, little Tokyo LA, Irvine, and beyond. True artisans, period....
