My now husband found a ring here that he wanted for my engagement ring, he ordered it with emeralds and he explained that he needed it as soon as possible as we were eloping, he was assured of a 4 week turn around. It ended up being over 6 weeks. We were married by the time it came in. And then when I tried it on the first time it was not even SIZED. Iām a 4.5 and it was a size 9⦠I donāt know how you even get that. Weāre over an hour drive away and when we went in to size my finger they made it sound like it was our fault and that they were doing us a favor by resizing the ring for free. They donāt size there and had to send it to the lab so it took another two weeks before I could actually wear it. The first time I put it on I noticed the emerald was loose too. There are parts of the ring that are not the rose gold that we asked for, instead a silvery color. We decided it not worth the headache to try and deal with the shop again. We just wanted nothing to do with them. Itās been long enough now that I donāt frankly care anymore and want to deter people from this business. They were just a whole mess. Itās a tourist trap and itās only worth buying a piece off the table. Donāt do custom work, and donāt expect him to exert any energy for customer satisfaction once you pay. Very kind and nice and will bend over backwards until they have the money and then itās like a different person. Didnāt even answer our calls or give us a new timeline when it was weeks late. Took Justin several phone calls to dad, Mark and ? to figure things out as in how much to give us. Said we would have to wait a half hour so he could get the money then decided to give us a cheque (just under $700.00). Said we would have to wait an hour to cash it. Told him we would wait until the next day. November 14 went to Wells Fargo to cash the cheque. Cashier could not put it through and due to confidentiality could not give me a reason and told me to contact the business. Phoned Justin who told me something must have gone through the account they forgot about and he would phone Mark and get back to me. He called back and said mom was going to the bank to āfixā it and wait an hour to give her time. We went back to the Wells Fargo and they did indeed cash the cheque. HOWEVER, they charged me $7.50 to do so telling me it was a business account and that is the way it was set up. Person cashing has to pay the fee NOT the business. We were going to go to Jewels of the Desert to get the $7.50 but decided not to waste more of our time. Justin phoned to advise it was okay to go cash the cheque. My husband answered my phone and told Justin we cashed the cheque but were charged $7.50. He could care less and when my husband said we will come by to be reimbursed ..after a very long pause, Justin saidā¦you can do that...

It now has to be shipped to a service center for an 8-10 week service. They offered to drill the screw out there, but no one in their right mind would trust the integrity of someone who did the damage in the first place.
The shop took no ownership of the damage. They are rated at two stars for a reason. I really would avoid this shop.
