Very over priced. We were the only ones there at the time, no other customers. Ask for lunch specials but they weren't clear about it (i can see why, so that they can rig whatever price they want). Apparently the menu we were given was not up to date so the prices were much higher at checkout. Last menu pic uploaded on Google reviews was 6 months ago so I felt like that's pretty recent, but apparently not recent enough considering all prices were $8 to $9 more then what was displayed. Thats ridiculous, in just less than 6 months?!? Cmon, really?! What changes or demands warrant such increase in prices? Please give it up with cliche excuses of "inflation", we've all seen/heard about it on BSPN. The store still looks the same. The food is still the same. I ordered chicken Tikka masala, the waiter said it doesn't come as lunch special but mentioned paneer so I said yes to it paneer "Tikka masala". Out comes saag paneer (spinach cheese tofu), far from Tikka masala. Reverted back to chicken Tikka masala and with attitude, he said even though it's not dinner time he'll get it for me. Apparently everything outside of lunch special is a la carte, so you have to order everything separately. Chicken Tikka masala alone was $25, it does NOT come with anything, no rice, no naan bread, no nothing, plus tax $2 = $27 and because I always tip 20% no matter what because that's just who I am, my final payment was just under $33, FOR JUST CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA. I would feel somewhat fair if it were a decent portion but it's not. It's a small bowl that you finish right away, won't even have enough to take home and I always have enough to take home because anybody who knows Indian food knows how filling it can be. I'm sure the waiter sensed something was wrong as I'm not the only one to react to outrages prices for such little portions. So he was quick to mention that "he's not the owner so take it up with the owner" smh, poor service. Miscommunication/misinterpretation due to language barrier. And ultimately the customer suffers at their expense, literally (no puns). Honestly if the food was amazing maybe I can try to balance/justify the thought of paying roo much but it was mediocre at best. I'm Indian myself, trust me, I know. I'm not being bias, because I brought friends there who are not Indian and it was their first time and they had much worst things to say, worst then me. The only one positive thing I can say is that the chicken was tender but other than that the flavor was certainly basic/mediocre/lacking. Sry Ayesha restaurant, I heard such good things and had to try it for myself. Need improvements in...
Read moreToday my family and I went for a Valentine’s Dinner. We walked in and were seated immediately. All the ladies got roses (a sweet gesture) so we started off good. However, the moment we were seated you could tell that the staff was not trained properly and were disorganized. The manager kept speed walking from table to table correcting the staff. The chef or owner was upset and told him something. There was cutlery falling constantly…so much movement. It took a long time for us to get our orders in for appetizers and the manager (and waiter) kept giving us suggestions on food that were on point. I asked him to put in the order for the entrees and he said something along the lines of “not yet, let me bring the appetizers out first”. Judging from the nearby tables, I figured it was going to be a long wait and sure enough it was. Two couple left while we waited and I enjoyed watching the chaos. We had to remind the manager/waiter about our appetizers twice and then finally I asked him to put in the order for the entrees because we would have been waiting all night.
Now, my sister and I have been here before and they have excellent service. But that’s because there isn’t usually a full house and tonight every table was seated. I can tell they don’t do well with too many customers and it was painful to watch. No one was rude but they were obviously overwhelmed.
Back to the positive, the food. It’s delicious. DELICIOUS. Major compliments to the chef. He was very kind and he even came out to apologize to the couple next to us that just asked the runner to pack up the food (they had been waiting a long time, too) when they brought it out. The food is 🌶️ spicy so if you can’t handle it, then ask for mild or very mild.
Would I come back? Yes, I’d come back just for the delicious food and wine (order Moscato if you like sweet, dry Italian wine) on a night that I have nothing else to do afterwards. No, I won’t come back during a holiday because it will be the same experience as today.
Btw, its free parking in front and to the left of the restaurant (in front of the Fred Astaire studio) if it gets...
Read moreI have been to Miami to visit different places around. I came to this restaurant for Dinner. I order Biryani and couple of punjabi dishes and appetizer. All items are not cooked as per recipe. Biryani look like they just fried left over lunch buffet rice in the oil and species and served me. Real biryani is so far better than Ayesha restaurant served me. I have been to many Indian restaurants around USA and I am very much aware of biryani test and its quality. And this quality was so much poor. And other two punjabi dishes were terrible. And they charge double price than any other Indian restaurant around USA. And they add tips in the bill without letting customer know. Actually, its customer decision whether gives tips or not after finding out food quality and waiters behavior. Ayesha restaurant Waiters are illegal immigrant. Immigration department and Homeland security should immediately arrest these people and deport them to their respective county.
Another thing is that Ayesha restaurant places many Lord Buddha statue and picture throughout restaurant to sentimentally and emotionally full innocent American citizen.
Innocent American are always finding something new and they are big fan of Indian food and Ayesha restaurant is taking advantage of this and fulling Innocent American citizen by not serving original Indian food. Indian food has its authenticity and its credibility. So Ayesha fake Indian restaurant which is not actually owned by Indian, is misusing Indian food credibility and looting innocent American citizen by double charging per dishes.
Since around Miami, there is very few original Indian restaurants so Ayesha is taking advantage of that and opened three restaurants around Miami area and fooling American citizen.
Consumer department immediately should take necessary restaurant and shut down its...
