I always preface that my wife and I have done over 250 rooms as this review is from someone who has seen all kinds of rooms. It also helps others who have done a bunch and want the opinion that comes with knowing what's out there vs just this one experience. With that said I will almost always leave 5 star reviews if the experience was solid and the owners seem to care about their craft (I have given plenty of non 5 star reviews for those that don't). I explain the type of rooms they have then let others decide whether it sounds worth it to them. The game master was the manager of the escape rooms (I think) and she was absolutely fantastic all the way through. She was excited to see some experienced players go through and rooted us along the entire time. She was amazing and she seemed to understand the role of the game master in nudging, but not nagging when we had momentum and just needed to think. My wife and I both left feeling like she was a really likable personality to run the games. The two rooms in this location have a solid theme to them and the story and puzzles are tied together fairly well. The rooms were made by different people and you can tell their vibes are different. I will say they likely cater to newer players and the puzzles aren't overly hard or challenging for experienced players, but that doesn't mean the progression was bad or boring. Red herrings are used a decent amount more than normal, and the reliance on combo locks can be a pro or con depending on the type of player you are. My biggest feedback is that the rooms should be tweaked to better align puzzles to their locks and not have you hunt down where something goes. Due to the over reliance on locks it limited the overall game's ability for variation. The rooms were fun and ever slightly risque to add a bit more to the experience. They aren't those crazy advanced rooms you will rave about to your friends and family to try, but they are definitely solid add to your collection. If you have never been to an escape room or have only done a few rooms, I would say they are a decent entry into the ER world. Reefer madness would be far better for beginners. The red room needs some tweaks to make it a more reliably fun experience from my opinion. I think for those who are more advanced, and maybe larger beginner groups who are ready to be challenged, it...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I are huge fans of escape rooms, so as soon as we came across these rooms we knew we had to try it. We did the medium difficulty room first and absolutely loved it. The room was very well done, with great decor, props and puzzles. While it was definitely 18+, the room was the right amount of sexy and fun. We enjoyed it so much that the next night we had to go back and try the “Room of Pain”. Again, the room was tons of fun with challenging puzzles and an intriguing theme.
Both of these rooms exceeded any expectations we had. The rooms are professionally done with well thought out puzzles and unique themes (not really found anywhere else). Not only were the rooms great, but all of the staff at the establishment were amazing! Both game masters were helpful and very attentive. Both nights Ethan S. was working and made our visits so pleasant. He was extremely helpful, welcoming and even provided us with great information about Vegas in general. Overall, the experiences were wonderful and lots of fun. We’re both still impressed by how great the rooms are and would love to visit again, especially if new...
Read moreWe've done a lot of escape rooms over the years, and for my birthday this weekend, we decided that an adult escape room would be an interesting twist.
This room was challenging, but not impossible (The three of us finished in 57 minutes, and only needed to ask for one clue.) and was "sexy" but not graphic. Definitely 18+, but I wouldn't hesitate to go through it with my co-workers. Honestly, the most "risque" thing about it was having to enter through the adult bookstore.
The premise was trying to escape from a strip club after one of the strippers went on a homicidal rampage, so there were some sex toys strewn about in a few of the areas, and tantalizing posters of women in g-strings, but nothing overtly offensive.
Overall, I'd say it is a great room at a mid-range challenge level - good ambiance/theme, and fun puzzles to work through. We will be going back when they open the "Mr. Grey's Red Room" challenge, and I'm told that it is much more graphically adult...
