As a Las Vegas local, I typically don't enjoy purchasing a lot of things on the strip, unless there's something that caught my eye that I haven't seen before, or if there's something that I've always wanted for years but couldn't find it elsewhere. This is mainly because most items you can find at stores/malls off strip and at a more reasonable price. So why am I writing a review of a store that's on the strip and having the appearance of contradicting what I just mentioned above? It's because I was an idiot and forgot to bring a hat with me or some hair products while conducting a staycation on the strip this weekend.
On 25 Feb 2024, I was walking around the surrounding area and browsed a few clothing and sports stores but couldn't find anything appealing, nor within the price range I'd be willing to pay for a simple hat. I stumbled upon Hattitude because the bucket hats close to the entryway caught my eye. Although I didn't purchase any of those hats, it was fun to try some of them on. I ended up purchasing a neutral-colored hat (gray, to be specific), with an American flag on it (see attached pictures).
This was such a quick in-and-out visit to which I didn't even get the opportunity to evaluate the rest of the store. However, one thing that was memorable about the experience, aside from finding a hat to my liking, was the employee that was working the register. She was very nice and personable which always makes a visit to any store great. I didn't get her name but it was the lady working on the date I specified above, approximately 1:30 pm. I can't say that the prices are reasonable here, but the price of my hat was obviously acceptable. I really enjoy and respect how this store supports the active men and women of the Armed Forces to include its Veterans - this is very much appreciated! If you're visiting Las Vegas and are in the market to purchase a cool, high quality hat/headwear, then I highly recommend this...
Read moreWent in last week to buy two Fedoras and took a picture of two hats I was looking at to send to my wife for her thoughts (I didn't see the small sign 10 feet in the air that says no pictures). An employee approached and I told her I was looking to buy two hats but needed my wife to help me decide. She points to the sign and rudely tells me I am not allowed to take pictures. I apologized to her and told her I had not seen the sign and was just trying to get my wife to help me decide on which to hats to buy. She responded rudely that I did not need to send a picture to my wife because the hats are all the same shape. Again, I apologized to her and said it wasn't the shape but the color combinations I was trying to get help with. She again reiterated that I was not allowed to take any photos. I apologized for the third time and left the store. I found a clothing store in the same mall and purchased two hats about 20 minutes later (for which I paid more) and the very kind associate in that store was more than happy to allow me to send my wife photos. I understand that they have a policy, but the employee could have done a much better job explaining it...
Read moreI purchased a Bruno Capelo fedora online ( if you want to rock the Giovanni hat I wear or any other hat, type in DoubleR as a promo code for a 20% discount at Brunocapelo.com), and when I received the hat, the pin had come out. Rather than sending the hat back so they could replace the fedora with an affixed pin, I called Hattitude and spoke with Jib, who said to bring the hat in.
When I arrived, Jib gave me some history on hat pins and noticed that the fedora contained a glued-in feather, so the feather could not be switched out. Jib was pleasant and highly knowledgeable, and the store had a solid selection of hats, including Stetson and Bailey fedoras.
Jib inserted my pin, which didn't appear easy, but she knew what she was doing. She didn't charge me anything, either. I recommend checking out their hat selection, and I am confident that if Jib is there, she has the knowledge to help you with any...
