I had a very beautiful experience here! Storytime: it was the full moon in Libra and I wanted to grab a rose quartz stone to carry with me (to assist in exuding more of my feminine energy). I grabbed the rose quartz stone of choice and just as I was heading to register, a display of beautiful necklaces caught my eyes. As I approached the display my eyes land on a rose quartz hanging from a gold chain. Upon inspecting the necklace’s beauty, I realized that there was a screw-on lid with an opening. “Can I use this for ashes” I asked the sales associate. “Yes sure” she replied. “Then I’ll take this instead”! SN: My dog, Louis, had just passed-on a month before (Virgo full moon) and I had been wanting jewelry to place his ashes in. Here’s where the magic happened… just as the sales associate placed the necklace on this glowing stone, Louis’s 9pm walk alarm went off. This store is great—my wife and I visited yesterday to purchase a couple of gems. Unfortunately, their sales system was down, but the staff was kind enough to say they would hold the items for us so we could come back today and complete the purchase.

When I returned today, I was told by the woman working that the items had been put back because she was told I’d be coming in the morning. I understand things can get miscommunicated, but I never said I’d be there in the morning—and I was disappointed by how the situation was handled. Her tone lacked empathy, and it felt like she wasn’t interested in helping sort things out.

What made it more frustrating was that the store was empty, and there was no apparent urgency to return items to inventory—especially given how much stock is available. A little patience and care for a returning customer would have gone a long way.

I still think the store is great, but experiences like this affect how comfortable customers feel...
