Sales rep, Jia, messed up big time.
I came yesterday to buy myself a birthday gift. I waited at the black rope for minutes as three women walked out, and security said, "You have to wait for them to clean due to COVID”…. I watched no one clean and continue to assist customers. After I complained, the doorman brought a rep to “assist” me. I asked her where the female sneakers were which she pointed me to, but that was the only assistance that I received from her. She followed me so bad that I pulled out my phone and recorded her. I accidentally walked behind a counter to look at a crossbody and that’s when she spoke up and said, “You cannot walk past here. You have to let me know and I’ll bring [the bag] to you”. I frustratingly walked away and said aloud, “This is getting really uncomfortable” and she CONTINUED to follow me. Her female co-worker overheard me say that and she basically co-signed Jia following me knowing it would make a customer uncomfortable 🙄 When I stormed out, Jia had the audacity to say, “We do 1-on-1 services”, yet she never even offered assistance. To backtrack, she briefly assisted another couple while I looked, then an older, female rep said something to her and she walked back over to follow me.
When I expressed my frustrations at the door, the same older female asked to speak with me and revealed that she indeed told Jia to finish assisting me and not the next customers. She then said Jia “tried to talk to me”, which was a LIE. A female manager stepped in, claiming she didn’t see what happened, and tried to make more excuses for Jia! I got fed up and walked away.
There is no excuse for Jia’s behavior. She assumed I wasn’t buying anything hence why she momentarily left me for a Caucasian couple who noticed my frustration as well. Her comment about the 1-on-1 service indicates that she didn’t want to help me anyway because I didn’t have an appointment. Furthermore, she sat back as her co-workers stepped in as if she didn’t care. If LV doesn’t rectify this, I will release the video publicly.
UPDATE: I spoke with store manager JESUS who spoke with me for 40 minutes and "agreed" with me. A week later, I reached back out and he said she got "Written Up" (Flag #1) and it won't happen again. I then called CS to see if I could receive something complimentary and SKY promised that and that he'd speak with Jesus. Sky called me days later and said that Jesus said the entire thing was a "misunderstanding" (which was NOT what his fake *ss told me), and nothing could be done for me. I then called CS back and fought, but nothing happened. An LV rep candidly said that they're known for sweeping these situations under the rug. Jia's his longtime rep and caters to the Asian clientele, so ofc he didn't reprimand her! He just lied to make me feel better. MORAL OF THE STORY - WALKOUT AS SOON AS YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE BC LV DOESN'T TAKE...
Read moreMy husband and I Went to The LV store in the Fashion Mall Las Vegas Nevada on Friday early evening. Looking for a bag the Petit Palais and after 30 plus minutes of looking at several different bags decided on the Petit. I asked for a new bag as the one i was looking at was displayed to many others with finger prints all over inside velvet lije fabric.
The associate Miso said she pulled it from the drawer, but if it was brand new there wouldn’t be finger prints all over inside! We were also told most store only show limited inventory, actually only 1 bag We were told she could order direct from warehouse and have a brand new bag shipped to our home/signature required. We thought about it and paid $3300.00, so I would receive a brand new bag from LV warehouse and not a store.
The UPS tracking was sent three days later (Monday) and it shows bag coming from LV New Orleans. We call LC CS to question why its coming from LV New Orleans on canal and not the warehouse in Dallas or NJ.
After over 40 minutes and 3 different phone calls with three different people, we were informed the bag was shipped from LV-NO store and not the warehouse. After several attempts of direct calling to associate we worked with in Las Vegas I finally spoke to her and she said she checked with her manager and she dud not know if order is placed to warehouse but warehouse has no inventory they pull from another store.
Miso Vice, if you have been with LV for 20 years, as you told me, you should know the process of ordering LV bags from a warehouse. It was made emphatically clear WE WANT A NEW BAG, and were told IT WOULD BE A NEW BAG not from another store! I paid $3300.00 to walk out of your store with a receipt and a guarantee that my bag will be shipping direct from the warehouse and not another store, that did not happen!
Miso you said, well accept the delivery, look at the bag and see if you like it. I said , its coming from another store and it was confirmed that it was a display by CS relations support. So, why would I shop in The Las Vegas store and pay $3300.00 to wait for another store LV-NO to ship me a display bag.
I was told if I don’t like the bag I can send you a text to receive a return label and package it back up and take to ups store to return and then wait 10 days for credit to my account.
This is the absolute worst experience I’ve had!
If you’re going to communicate to customers make sure you know what you’re talking about and follow up to make sure the item was being shipped from a warehouse and not another store from a...

My boyfriend and I came into this store yesterday for my birthday. At first I didn't even want to go into the store but he insisted on looking around to hopefully find something that I would like. Now it's not like we couldn't afford a single thing in there because we could. But at the same time we may not have looked like it because we were in normal street clothes ( not like that should have mattered) - This lady met us at the door, and we started to look around. Not once did she ask if we needed help, had any questions ect. Instead, she literally followed us everywhere. As I was trying different perfumes she literally stood right next to me, when I attempted to go to the other side to get some distance, same thing. It was like she was attached at the hip. My boyfriend then was looking at sunglasses, and she made very rude comments in the sense of " he couldn't afford them" - ummm, yes we could? As we proceeded to continue to look around the store at the purses, she continued to follow us everywhere ( and there were several other customers in the store and none of the other employees were acting this way following other customers) She was following us like we were about to steal something. Finally after several mins of this happening, my boyfriend decided we needed to leave because of this. As we were leaving, he even confronted the women and stated that " we are not thieves but for whatever reason you are treating us as such" ... He thinks it's because of his ethnicity because we were the only interracial couple in there at the time... I honestly found this whole interaction and experience disgusting and rude. What should have been a fun time shopping for my b-day turned into a terrible experience of being treated poorly and like we couldn't afford to even walk into that store. We had every intention to buy several items, but if this is how you are going to treat your customers, then i'd rather take my money elsewhere. Hopefully the store manager reads this and if you do, please teach your employees to do better, and stop judging people based off of how they look, just because were not all dressed up doesn't mean we can't afford to buy stuff........
