I spend a lot of $$$ here at Marc's and have been a customer since the original Marc's was started on Pearl Road (pre fire!). Upon receiving my change I waited for at least a "thank you"...hahahaha. Placing my receipt away i said "your welcome"...still nothing. On my way out I spotted the manager and told her "I just now spent over a hundred dollars...I can't even get a thank you?" She said she would talk to her "tomorrow" after the manager said she was having a meeting with her boss...um excuse me...go over to Laykesia NOW to let her know she needs to thank customers...I'm more than positive nothing was ever said or done. Both of these workers are great ambassadors for the Marc’s brand, and they should be commended for doing a great job every day.
Also, in another trip to the store, I couldn’t find a price on a bathroom rug in their Closeouts section. Nor would the item scan at the customer price check electronic reader. The only person I could find to help me was Dena, the Food Supervisor. Even though this was not her department, she offered to get a price for me. I couldn’t believe how courteous and customer-focused she was! Wow!
