Stopped by at the last minute about closing time to have Bob check out what I believed was an exhaust leak. He ramped up my vehicle and after a detailed examination determined it to be another mechanical part which I will replace. I found him to be very customer friendly, knowledgable and an all around good honest man. This was my first visit to his shop it reminded me of what I call the good old days when customer service was honest and fair with a neighborhood feel. I witnessed how he interacted with another customer to explain how and why a procedure needed to be done on her exhaust. No dought this is the place to go. I asked Bob what I owed him for his time and diagnosis. His reply was "nothing" After much conversation it was interesting to learn his other interests and accomplishments. I was visiting Paso Robles and my muffler was rattling. They saw me when I pulled in, and discovered the repair shop I recently went to had not reattached the muffler properly. Randy looked over the rest of the car for me to make sure they hadn’t forgotten anything else, then loaned me the one bolt he found that fit so I could take it nextdoor to the hardware store to find two more. He secured the muffler and sent me on my way no charge. Seriously Randy and Bob saved the day-if Randy hadn’t found that bolt and suggested I see if there were more next door, I would’ve been headed to the Toyota dealership in SLO. I’ve came to Moms muffler for quite awhile now with a few different vehicles and not only do I get great customer service but the price is a deal! He is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and WELL experienced, he see’s things other guys my not, he goes the extra mile to do something other guys may not just because that’s how you do it RIGHT. this shop is a diamond in the ruff! Custom bends tubing, mocks up a muffler to see if you like the sound or not, wonderful experience from start to finish. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
