If you're seeking a unique and refined experience in Paso Robles, look no further than 1122 Cocktail Lounge. Tucked away like a hidden gem, this speakeasy takes you on a journey back in time to the days of Prohibition-era glamour. Upon entering, guests are greeted warmly and seated in the plush, intimate surroundings. The presentation of the menu is a delightful prelude to the evening, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the world of carefully crafted cocktails. The absence of cellphone distractions enhances the sense of connection and immersion in the refined atmosphere. One of the standout features of 1122 is its commitment to creating an immersive experience. The no-cellphone policy might seem unconventional at first, but it plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of presence and connection. Without the distraction of screens, patrons engage in genuine conversations and fully appreciate the artistry behind each cocktail. The convenience of opening a tab and placing orders at the ends of the bar adds a touch of modern efficiency to the nostalgic setting. This thoughtful arrangement allows patrons to peruse the menu at their leisure, ensuring that the focus remains on the enjoyment of the moment. What truly elevates the experience is the impeccable service. Attentive staff members bring each expertly crafted drink directly to your seat, enhancing the feeling of exclusivity. The mix of classic and innovative concoctions caters to a range of palates, making every sip a journey through the artistry of mixology. Speaking of cocktails, the mixologists at 1122 are true craftsmen. The menu boasts a curated selection of both classic and innovative drinks, each concoction a masterpiece in its own right. The attention to detail in presentation and the use of high-quality ingredients elevate the entire drinking experience. DH was partial to the Butter Pecan Old Fashion and I went for the Deadbolt, which is essentially the Espresso Martini. Delish!! The exclusivity and intimate setting make 1122 the perfect spot for a special evening. Whether you're celebrating an occasion or simply want to unwind in a sophisticated setting, this speakeasy delivers an unparalleled experience. The 1.5-hour reservation window adds a sense of anticipation and keeps the evening flowing smoothly. It strikes a perfect balance, providing ample time to savor the carefully curated drinks and engage in meaningful conversations without feeling rushed. In conclusion, 1122 Cocktail Lounge in Paso Robles is a haven for those seeking a taste of vintage charm and exquisite libations. The no-cellphone policy, far from being a restriction, enhances the overall atmosphere and encourages patrons to savor the moment. If you appreciate the art of mixology and relish the idea of stepping back in time, 1122 is a must-visit destination. Cheers to an unforgettable night of elegance and indulgence

They take "craft" to a whole new level here. The decor is simple yet creates an alluring, step-out-of-time atmosphere that is utterly charming. We first ordered off the menu, an Orbital Rings and a From Russia Without Love. Both were carefully and artfully prepared with beautiful presentation and finely balanced flavors. Our second round was one from the menu and a custom request for a spicy gin drink that did not disappoint (And I was expecting a lot!). There are a few tables in the back on either side of the entrance that are lovely for an intimate chat and people watching. But snag a seat at the bar if you can, you don't want to miss the spectacularly talented display of bartending skills and artistry. Matt and Tony were amazing to watch, and you will surely pick up an idea or two to up your cocktail game at home. A big thank you to whoever chooses the music; enchanting, interesting, 100% keeping with the overall atmosphere yet delightfully in the actual background...well played. We waited maybe 25 minutes to get in with 4 parties ahead of us, and it was well worth it. The heaters outside were a nice touch, and Jaime was absolutely the most professional and politely skilled gatekeeper I've ever encountered. We will definitely be back anytime we are in the area.

Where to start... This place is a hidden gem (hence speakeasy), the bourbon list is crazy extensive, there is something to ease even the most eccentric palates that are looking for something beyond Blanton's. You won't get disappointed at all, 11/22 is a must in Paso Robles, with a Great Gatsby atmosphere and limited capacity (yes, even before covid-19) this place really brings it home. They have an extensive bar, but before you go your own way with your drinks, you should give their signature drink list a try. The key lime gin fizz and the butter pecan old fashioned ( picture included ) will amaze you. Although be ware the gin fizz will take sometime to make. Enjoy another drink while waiting for your gin fizz. Look for the wooden door (picture included) right behind Papy Macgregor's. You might have to wait a bit, but worth it

Work in the industry and gave this place 3 shots, each experience was not fun but I kept hoping it was an off day. Every time we've had a terrible experience with the final time being the final straw. First two times we had table service,.third time we did not. Every time, obviously there was a line to get in. First time: We got almost zero service. Paid the high drink prices and left. Second time: We were told to be quiet (laughed too loud). Then were ushered out right on the time limit . My husband ended up forgetting his phone and when he came back to try to find it he was told your time is done you need to leave. No offer of help or care. Third time: We waited 10 minutes at the table before I ended up asking if ordering was now at the bar. Then we waited at the bar another 10 minutes, with people who were behind us in line outside being served (order taken as well) before us. The entire time at the bar, staff never looked at us, never said one minute, never acknowledged our presence. When we decided to leave, we asked basically why we were getting this wrong at every turn and they told us we just needed to wait longer. Every time, we wait in line a long time and then wait forever for service. Customers are treated like they have to be grateful to be let in and then more grateful to get service. It's not even a real speakeasy . Line is expected, but service makes it embarrassing to bring anyone here. Highly do not recommend. I honestly hate leaving this type of review as I am local but every time I've left frustrated and tonight was just the end, especially since we came to celebrate as part of an after party from my husband's birthday party and we were in 1920s costume and trying to enjoy the last...

I came here with my fiancé and cousins while here in town for a wedding. I’m so glad we went!! The journey just to find the bar and enter was amazing! We enjoyed to secrecy aspect and it excitement of entering the secret room filled with books. The entrance to the actual bar was thrilling. The atmosphere felt like we entered a movie set from the roaring 20’s! With our cellphone locked away, we were all forced to enjoy the moment, the music, the company and most importantly-the drinks!!! The bartenders are true craftsmen, and fully committed to their roles-20’s style beards, haircuts and outfits. The drinks each have their own unique presentation and they were absolutely delicious!! My cousin ordered the Buttered Pecan Old Fashioned and it smelled like a sophisticated glass of Christmas served with a smoked piece of cinnamon! He’s not much of a drinker and said it was amazing. The atmosphere was great for conversation, yet you couldn’t really hear what other people were saying. Great energy, nice crowd-not like the rowdy bar next door. If you want to get drunk and rowdy-stay next door. This is not the place for you and they will kick you out-which we all personally loved. No drama here!! We all enjoyed ourselves immensely since we were there for the experience and to catch up over fantastic cocktails. It was truly perfect. If you are searching for a unique luxurious experience for drinking cocktails in a beautifully themed bar, you...
