Read moreWork in the industry and gave this place 3 shots, each experience was not fun but I kept hoping it was an off day. Every time we've had a terrible experience with the final time being the final straw. First two times we had table service,.third time we did not. Every time, obviously there was a line to get in. First time: We got almost zero service. Paid the high drink prices and left. Second time: We were told to be quiet (laughed too loud). Then were ushered out right on the time limit . My husband ended up forgetting his phone and when he came back to try to find it he was told your time is done you need to leave. No offer of help or care. Third time: We waited 10 minutes at the table before I ended up asking if ordering was now at the bar. Then we waited at the bar another 10 minutes, with people who were behind us in line outside being served (order taken as well) before us. The entire time at the bar, staff never looked at us, never said one minute, never acknowledged our presence. When we decided to leave, we asked basically why we were getting this wrong at every turn and they told us we just needed to wait longer. Every time, we wait in line a long time and then wait forever for service. Customers are treated like they have to be grateful to be let in and then more grateful to get service. It's not even a real speakeasy . Line is expected, but service makes it embarrassing to bring anyone here. Highly do not recommend. I honestly hate leaving this type of review as I am local but every time I've left frustrated and tonight was just the end, especially since we came to celebrate as part of an after party from my husband's birthday party and we were in 1920s costume and trying to enjoy the last...
Read moreI came here with my fiancé and cousins while here in town for a wedding. I’m so glad we went!! The journey just to find the bar and enter was amazing! We enjoyed to secrecy aspect and it excitement of entering the secret room filled with books. The entrance to the actual bar was thrilling. The atmosphere felt like we entered a movie set from the roaring 20’s! With our cellphone locked away, we were all forced to enjoy the moment, the music, the company and most importantly-the drinks!!! The bartenders are true craftsmen, and fully committed to their roles-20’s style beards, haircuts and outfits. The drinks each have their own unique presentation and they were absolutely delicious!! My cousin ordered the Buttered Pecan Old Fashioned and it smelled like a sophisticated glass of Christmas served with a smoked piece of cinnamon! He’s not much of a drinker and said it was amazing. The atmosphere was great for conversation, yet you couldn’t really hear what other people were saying. Great energy, nice crowd-not like the rowdy bar next door. If you want to get drunk and rowdy-stay next door. This is not the place for you and they will kick you out-which we all personally loved. No drama here!! We all enjoyed ourselves immensely since we were there for the experience and to catch up over fantastic cocktails. It was truly perfect. If you are searching for a unique luxurious experience for drinking cocktails in a beautifully themed bar, you...
