This place is supposed to close at 8:30 but it was pretty clear that when we got there at 8:05 they had shut the line down. They didn't have key menu ingredients like rice, lettuce, or grilled vegetables. When I took the first bite of my burrito everything in it was cold - the beans were cold the meat was cold and it was just unappetizing. Brought it to the clerk and was told they couldn't do anything about it. They couldn't refund our money and certainly we did not want them to remake a burrito because it was still going to be cold. They took down our information and I threw out an $11 burrito knowing that the odds of me getting my money back at this point are pretty close to none. They locked the doors behind us when we left at 8:15, which is probably a good thing if that was the quality of the food they would have been serving any customers trying to get in before they're supposed to close at 8:30. And if management happens to care about these reviews, I'll also note that for a store that was about to close they were freshly grilling some chicken for non-existent customers. I'm guessing the staff at least left...
Read moreMy family and I have been there twice since it opened. The first time we were not impressed but we wanted to give it another try. They were extremely slow, but we figured that they just opened and the workers were still learning so not a huge deal. When we got to the counter they were doing online orders in the middle of the the orders at the counter. They were getting them confused which took even longer and we all noticed that one lady was getting Queso all over the receipts and other people’s orders. Instead of putting on new gloves, it was a mess everywhere! So gross! The second time we went in, they only had 3 people ahead of us. It took 10 minutes before they took our order. There were 4 people “working”. They were so slow and again it was so messy and gross! The same lady that made a mess the first time didn’t roll up our son’s burrito and it spilled out everywhere when we unwrapped it. You don’t get a lot for the price as well. Save your money and go to chipotle if you want a good...
Read moreI definitely prefer Pancheros to similar restaurants. The carnitas is always amazing, I can’t imagine getting a different meat, and I’ll end up craving it again after I leave. However, there are a few cons I’ve noticed. Though it definitely feels like the workers are doing their best, they’ve made mistakes every time I’ve come. Little things, nothing that can’t be overlooked and obviously nothing that turns me away, but it’s a little disheartening to have something go wrong each time. The music is usually louder than necessary, which makes it difficult to have conversations and can be overstimulating. If you come during a dinner rush, expect things to be a bit more dry, messy, and hurried, but if you come later in the evening, things are much better and the atmosphere is more relaxed. The last con is the price. One burrito, chips and queso, and a drink was nearly $20. It’s a large burrito of course, but that still puts a dent in the wallet and makes it a little harder to want...
