Trash customer service.
I called ahead of time to see if they carried a particular item. Ryan informed me that if they had the item, it would be on the floor or in the back. He never once offered to check. Obviously, IF the item is in store, it would be on the floor, or in the back. That's common sense.
The purpose of me calling the store before hand is for you, the employee--in the store-- to let me know if you have the item, so I do not need to waste anyone's time going into the store for nothing.
Still, I went inside the store, and I don't shop here often, and it's a massive store, of course. I was greeted but I wasn't offered any help at all. I walked the length of the store searching for said item and gave up. No assistance, no awareness, no help at all from customer service. I walked out and when I turned back, it looked like two employees had followed me to the door, I guess to check if maybe I stole something. So, that tells me they were aware of me being there but made sure to make themselves scarce while I needed help.

Read moreVery wide selection of sporting goods and outdoor apparel. The prices are a little high so I would recommend waiting for the items to go on sale. This is where I buy most of my athletic shoes as they have a large selection and as I mentioned I wait for a sale. The shoes can go on sale for up to 20% off which makes a $100 shoe $80. My girlfriend likes to purchase her running shoes here (Brooks or Mizuno) and her Nike and Under Armour running apparel. I have also purchased some Nike and Under Armour gear here also. We are both usually approached by an associate who offers to help and if not an associate can readily be found. I used to buy my weightlifting equipment here when it was Galyans but since the prices on these items have raised so much since it became Dick's I now buy them at Dunham's where they are...
