My mother ordered several charms for my daughters first charm bracelet. She was so excited to come and pick them up. We were not acknowledged when we walked into the store. We went to Online Order Pick Up. The woman at the front took several people in the other line (who showed up after us) before asking if we needed help. I told her what they were there for. She looked up the order and said it had been too long since it was ordered so it had been returned to stock. I was shocked by this as I had no idea we had a deadline to pick up the order and since it wasn't purchased by me, I wanted to insure that my mother's payment had been returned. The woman was very rude and said I should have read the email and was hurrying me out when I was just trying to verify that the order of several hundred dollars had been returned to my elderly mother. She loudly berated me with multiple people in line around me. I was embarrassed and said I would just look it up at home and left with my daughter who was disappointed to not be getting her charms.
When other stores send out emails about orders, they commonly put something like "Pick up by x/xx date to avoid your order being cancelled" in the subject line. Instead, James Avery puts it in small print at the bottom of the regular order email. I never saw this until the lady at the counter pointed it out. My fault, but they could have made it a little more obvious for people who receive hundred of emails a day. And of course, the woman could have been a bit more friendly about pointing it out. Instead of just proclaiming "Well you should have just...
Read moreMy mother and I entered the store, the only customers present, to buy charm bracelets for my daughters and ended up selecting a piece of jewelry for my husband as well. Unfortunately, upon our arrival, we werenât greeted or acknowledged by any of the five employees at the counter. After waiting a few minutes, we approached the counter for assistance, asking, âDo we need to come to the counter for help?â The staff seemed indifferent and annoyed by our presence, offering no clear response. Eventually, a woman named Katherine came to assist us, and she was very helpful.
Although we felt uncomfortable and considered leaving without making a purchase, we ultimately spent around $600. Had our initial interaction been more positive, we likely would have bought additional items. Instead, we left to continue our shopping at another jewelry store, where we experienced...
Read moreIve been in this store twice.
First time 3 years ago - came in for resize on a ring which was a service offered online. They poopoo'd me and wouldnt help me because it wasn't from them.
3 years later - 8/20/2025 at 12:40PM I walk in post gym, go in for a wedding band as I'm getting married in a month. Walk in not and theres not a hey hi how are you nothing. Not a single acknowledgement just an aire of superiority. Which is wild coming from a place that sells glorified overpriced trinket jewelry. This place is a must avoid. There are TONS of other great options in Austin/Pflugerville that don't give you the I judge the poor vibe whilst being a poor.
Edit** Take your copy/paste response and throw it in the trash with the rest of your jewelry.
Ask the two staff members in your store why they have such poor...
