There are a lot of options in Philadelphia for people to pursue their fitness goals. I spent years at different gyms trying to find a good fit until I discovered and committed to 10 Hands. Randall (owner) is a world champion in his craft and the dedication he poured into that achievement has bled into his training philosophy. I sincerely find myself more athletic and confident since joining this gym about 6 months ago. Additionally, there is NOTHING that this gym doesn’t have. There is ample weightlifting and cardio equipment along with boxing heavy bag areas and even showers, lockers, steam rooms, etc. If you want to step it up a notch the gym also offers HIIT classes and various instructional classes which dive into the specific techniques of striking. There have been some weeks where work and personal life is stressful and all I need is a place to hit a bag to some music in a room full of people doing the same. Sometimes I just opt to do a workout all by myself. While other times I find myself more dedicated to wanting to hone the craft of boxing and attend the instructional classes. This gym shines because it has an array of options for a reasonable price that you will not find in any other major US city. Lastly, I have met some great people through this that push me to be a better version of myself inside and outside of the gym, which I was not expecting coming into it. If you haven’t checked this place out, you’re seriously...
Read moreMy daughter-in-law (26) brought me (62?!) to 10 Hands yesterday for my very first Muay Thai (Thai-style kickboxing) class and it was great! 10 Hands is a hidden gem that you need to check out—because if you’re reading this, you’re probably looking for a place to work out, learn or spar that has all the equipment you need—and then some.
Arriving downstairs at the check-in desk, owner Randall introduced himself right away & was dialed-in to learning what brought me in, what I was looking for. An experienced fighter and a smart, encouraging and effective instructor, Randall is attentive to making both the more experienced people in the kickboxing class & the newbie feel challenged yet capable. And he has wide-ranging good taste in music. I get the sense that he tailors everything to the preferences & abilities of his students, with an eye to proper form & safety.
10 Hands is spacious and secure—and there are lockers in the dressing areas. The place is immaculate, and the equipment is diverse—with some machines & other equipment I’d not seen before. Although rather tired from the full-body workout of the muay thai class, we couldn’t resist trying out some of the other features. Fun! Best yet: we came away happy and awoke energized the next day. Go...

I can't say enough good things about this place. From the moment I walked in, the people are welcoming, and the trainers are on point. Whether you're a beginner or just trying to get in shape or a serious fighter training for a fight, this gym has everything you need.
The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely care about your progress. They push you hard, but in the best way possible. The workouts are intense, well-structured, and never boring. Especially, the morning HIIT workouts taught by Anthony of Philly Fitness Xperiment.
The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and has all the equipment you could ask for: weights, cardio machines, heavy bags, speed bags, a boxing ring, and more.
What really sets this gym apart, though, is the community. It’s a no-ego, non-toxic, all hustle environment where everyone supports each other. You walk out feeling stronger every time physically and mentally.
If you're in Philly and looking for a good boxing gym, HIIT classes, yoga classes, or just a good...
