WeWork Office Space & Coworking — Local services in Philadelphia

Having been in an office at this location for over a year I can say it is by far the worst coworking establishment I have ever worked at (and it is my 4th). While aesthetically pleasing, the HVAC does not function appropriately, the music is constantly on too loud, there is not free beer as advertised but free beer for a very short window of time, and there are many issues with the conference rooms (the largest does not have functioning HVAC in a way that makes it difficult to have a meeting longer than 30 minutes in, the other large one also gets quite warm, there is one small one where the floor is torn up, etc).

Perhaps most egregious is the staff. The custodial staff are often short and if you have evening meetings are chasing you out of the room with cleaning products (one began spraying chemicals near food that I was packing up that was still open). The worst has to be the community associates and managers who are a real detriment to this establishment. They've prescribed ancillary rules without showing where it is written (for example, the standard contract says "common spaces are to be enjoyed by all our Member Companies, members and guests" yet I was told my guests who I was meeting with would have to be confined to a conference room and the only one that fits all of us is unusable due to the HVAC situation. To remedy this I asked for a folding table to be set up before our meetings and was told I'd have to drag it back and set it up myself, even though the reason for this is due to their space's inefficiencies.

Comparing the Market to Ludlow locations: Both open earlier than Maps says. They open at like 8am.

Market = Has 5 large monitors you can plug into, more security at the door, but more chill vibes and smaller location than Ludlow. Extremely cozy. Caters more to a ton of individual desks instead of meeting rooms. This location is for the individual.

Start-up atmosphere. Free Beers. Free Coffee. Lots of parties, events and many more offers if you rent a space here. It is always lively with lot of activities going around. I worked here for around a year and loved the place. They have a mobile app with which you can easily book rooms, buy snacks etc. If you are used to working in big individual cubes then you may not like the default space...
