Totem Brand Co. — Local services in Philadelphia

I placed an order with Totem Brand Co. for two Patagonia MLC 45L bags and paid increased international shipping and prepaid duties at checkout. A few days later, I received a cancellation notice falsely stating that I had requested to cancel the order — which I had not.

I had to reach out myself to find out what happened, and only then was I informed that the company had decided to cancel my order due to the cost of international shipping — despite the fact that I had already paid the higher shipping and duties. No one attempted to contact me beforehand or offer any alternative; they simply cancelled the order without discussion.

To make things worse, the sale price of the bag is no longer listed, raising serious concerns about the integrity of the cancellation.

They have a lot of Great quality clothes, shoes and accessories. A great selection of Raw Denim and Selvage Denim. A lot of it is made in America. The best men's store in Philadelphia. The employee or owner was very helpful and friendly. They even have Philadelphia made jeans and ties and soap from Bucks County. The brands I could remember are Filson, Red Wing, Wolverine, Norman Porter, Tellason, Pointer Brand, Taylor Stitch, Danner, Hunter, Deus ex Machina, Iron and Resin, Marmot, Fjallraven, Tanner Goods, Ball and Buck, Chipewa, Miansai. Oh yeah they have a lot of leather goods and plenty of quality bags. Lot of soy wax candles too. So many pretty ones and great scented ones that have different flavors of wine as well. Lots of boots too. Also have soap incense face care and pomade and even shave sets. Great store for gifts. So far I got hand made jeans and hand made shirt. Can't wait to get the hand made...

I have ordered a bit of clothing from here over the last couple of years and never had an issue until today...

I ordered a shirt and a pair of socks online around Thanksgiving and on Sunday got a notification that the socks were refunded. I called within an hour to add different socks and was told "No it's Black Friday and we are busy. (it is Sunday) I hung up in a bit of a shock and wrote and email stating what had happened and to cancel the shirt as well. They canceled/refunded the shirt almost instantly, but no apology or any other communication attempting to mend their error.

I don't know if this was a one time mistake, but there are plenty of other retailers out there, even in the somewhat niche markets this store operates, who will sell you product and provide you with good...
