Today was the first time my mom and I patronized Miller's Twist and we didn't know if the pretzels were any good. So we decided to buy two pretzels at $3.50 a piece for a taste test. After the purchase was made we walked away to continue shopping in Reading Terminal. We both began to eat our pretzels and realized they were delicious. Less than 10 mins lapsed before we returned to Miller's Twist, and asked the same woman who waited on us before, for the courtesy of purchasing a third pretzel for the Advertised Special Rate of 3 pretzels for $9 (which meant the third pretzel would only cost an additional $2). Suprisingly the woman at the register said she wouldn't honor the Advertised Special Rate because we did not purchase all 3 pretzels together during our first transaction 10 minutes prior.

She made excuses, such as, the register wouldn't allow her to do it. So we challenged her by saying do you care about winning us over as customers seeing how we just patronized you 10 mins ago and returned with the establishment's bags still in our hands? She then proceeded to say if she did it for us she would have to do it for other people and if we wanted to purchase a third pretzel it would be the regular price of $3.50. Mind you we were first time customers and she still refused to extend the courtesy.

Was it too much for her to say... since you're first time customers I will extend a consideration but in the future make sure you purchase all 3 pretzels at the same time. Unfortunately she lost future business and I wouldn't recommend anyone else patronize the establishment. It's not only about providing customers with good food, it's also about making customers feel valued, which...

During our visit to Reading Terminal Market, my wife and I took our friend to experience one of Philadelphia's most iconic treats: the Philadelphia pretzel. Our destination was Millerโ€™s Twist, renowned for its handmade soft pretzels. As expected, the stand had a long line that wrapped around the booth, a testament to its popularity and reputation as a must-visit spot in the market.

The ambiance of the Reading Terminal Market added to the experience. The hustle and bustle of vendors and visitors, the aroma of fresh-baked goods, and the lively chatter created an atmosphere that felt authentically Philadelphia. At Millerโ€™s Twist, the warm smell of freshly baked pretzels filled the air, building up our anticipation as we waited.

Despite the crowd, the service was efficient and friendly. The staff worked quickly to manage the steady stream of customers while maintaining a welcoming attitude. After a short wait, we received our order: three soft pretzels, each perfectly golden brown with just the right amount of salt.

The pretzels lived up to the hypeโ€”they were warm, buttery, and delightfully soft, with a perfect balance of chewiness and flavor. Our friend, trying a Philadelphia pretzel for the first time, was thoroughly impressed. We all agreed that these pretzels were a highlight of our visit to the market and a true representation of what makes Philadelphia's food scene special.

Millerโ€™s Twist is not just a place to grab a snackโ€”itโ€™s a quintessential Philly experience, combining delicious food, a vibrant atmosphere, and excellent service. Whether you're a local or a visitor, itโ€™s well worth the...

DO NOT PATRONIZE. Let me start by saying that we absolutely love these pretzels and have been buying them for as long as we can remember. We get the same exact order everytime we buy pretzels and enjoy them very much. Does that mean we will spend our money at a place that treats โ€œusโ€ poorlyโ€ฆABSOLUTELY NOT. There have been 3 incidents on 3 separate occasions within the last year that we visited and the staff have been unnecessarily rude to us and even other customers as we and they are ordering. For context- the first incident I witnessed was a younger black male, then on another occasion myself and my husband (also African American), and an elder black lady who order shortly after us. I went straight to the reviews after this happened because I thought we cannot be the only people complaining about this and low and behold another woman had the same experience. With a visible profile picture, you can guess what skin color she isโ€ฆAs business owners ourselves we were completely disappointed by their lack of customer service and unfair treatment. We will not be returning until/unless this issue is addressed and if that means never...
