Plush Hair Lounge — Local services in Philadelphia

My last hairstylist moved and was looking for someone new, wanted to try this place, but unfortunately had a terrible experience and will not be coming back… do yourself a favor and just go somewhere else for way better results and service!

Kerri took ten mins total to apply a color on my roots, then had me sit 10 mins and her assistant took over and did the rest of the work…Kerri literally sat and did nothing but play on her phone the rest of the time…assistant applied gloss by dumping it on my hair in the sink, waited 10 mins and then the wash was the most quick/painful with hair dye and soap suds inside my ear, felt super uncomfortable…then she told me I was done and didn’t offer to dry my hair.. I was shocked she was going to let me leave with drenched hair… I didn’t see Kerri with any other customers the whole time and ppl were still getting their hair done in the salon… was told they have no time to dry my hair and they can hand me the dryer to do it myself!! There was plenty of time before closing 30-40 mins… I told them I didn’t need styling or anything just semi dry to see what the color looked like… what a shocker when I got home, hated it.. missed spots and color didn’t change anything, grays still showed... wasted money.. ended up going to a diff salon to get it fixed bc I was set on never coming back here for the terrible service… prob the worst salon I have ever been to… was willing to pay whatever as long as job was well done, but rather go somewhere else and never step here ever again bc how terrible I felt and looked from this place. Obsessed with PHL. Kerri is the only one I trust with my hair. You know that scene in “Princess Diaries” when she gets her makeover ; that’s what I feel like every time I visit. The salon is beautiful , clean, inviting, and professional. My hair is so healthy and vibrant . After only one session Kerri knew what I was striving for. I just sit in the chair , relax, and she creates amazing color. I’m amazed every time how she knows exactly the right spots for my highlights . Breage is amazing at styling and gives my hair the volume I have never been able to create. She is so sweet and it’s so relaxing I just close my eyes and drift while she works her magic. I love this salon! The staff are all so talented and friendly. Their salon mascot Bubba, the adorable frenchie, welcomed me when I first came in. Kerri did an excellent job talking me through what would look best when I brought a picture in of the color I was considering and what steps would be taken to achieve my desired color change. She offered suggestions on how best to tweak my inspiration photo for what would look best for my complexion. Breage did a great job on my cut and I loved my blow out that included some soft natural looking waves. She gave my hair some volume and framing without sacrificing the length which I’m hoping to continue to grow. I recommend this salon to all my friends in the Philly area and will...
