As someone who used to hate working out and could never find the motivation to do it, Orangetheory has completely changed the way I see working out. I actually look forward to going to class and feel motivated to give it my all (as opposed to going to the gym where I didn’t feel comfortable or motivated to give it my all).
This is hugely because of Amy, one of the trainers at this location. I swear she is made for this. She is the embodiment of Orangetheory. She makes sure she knows everyone’s name and their goals and is motivating throughout the workout, keeping my stamina and energy up. If she sees you doing something incorrectly, she very discreetly comes over and helps you in such a kind manner - not making you feel bad and not distracting to others. I also appreciate the time and effort that is put into it by the coaches. They explain the purpose behind every workout and what muscle groups we were targeting. It helped me expand my knowledge of workouts.
Coach Jordan is amazing and so is the staff at the Downtown location. I feel like I’m family and part of this large support group that has your best interest at heart.

Read moreI was in town for two weeks which stretched to four for a family matter, and I thought it would be fun to give the OrangeTheory down the street from my hotel a try. I'd heard about it from a friend and wondered if it was going to be gimmicky but I ended up really liking it. Amy was super helpful getting me set up with a short term package, and walked me through what to expect in classes. The classes are a nice combination of HIIT cardio and weightlifting, with a few different class formats available throughout the week. At home I mostly do weighlifting with running on alternate days, but the OrangeTheory classes kicked my butt in a good way. There were attendees of all different types and they were very welcoming.
