Geographical Center of Phoenix, Arizona — Attraction in Phoenix

You'll see this when you cross the concrete path that divides the Cityscape plaza. Stand facing the set of steps by EOS (and its big TV screen on the building) and as you walk toward those steps, you'll see this marking on the floor before the MetroRail tracks. It seems to be of the phoenix bird. I would not recommend driving out to see this, but it's nice to see if it you are already in the Cityscape plaza. This does t make any sense to me unless they are referring to just the downtown portion of the city, as Phoenix spreads out only about 10-15 miles south to the Loop 202 south of South Mountain but extends about 20-25 miles north to north of Happy Valley Rd.
