Bought a part that didn’t work on my vehicle took it back and they gave me a store card and not a refund and that was fine so I used the card and bought some extra stuff, and some of the items were on sale so the man behind counter rang it all up, he asked if I had a rewards card, I told him yes but he said oh too late I already rang it up, I told him I was military he said I already rang it all up so you have to pay for it, my wife said what about the items that were on sale? He said no you can’t get the items at sale price because as I told you I already rang it up, so I told him well cancel it and start over, he stated again I already rang it up so you will have to put your credit card in and pay for it, he then called the manager over and she told us to bad if I cancel you will loose your money from the gift card and you have to pay full price again and since it’s already rang up you don’t get sale prices either and no military discount, Wow I felt like I just got bent over the counter and given a good one, if wanted to get robbed I would have just came to the Auto zone in pigeon Forge and gave you my wallet because you robbed me anyway. Read moreI went in, with a huge problem. The plastic shift retainer on my shift cable was gone. I drive a newer foes so safety features were getting in my way. So getting home was out of the question.
Austin, the young man behind the counter was extremely helpful. This young man helped me stay calm because naturally I was a little stressed. Helped me find a part that would fit to the replace the plastic piece stopping me from shifting my car into drive or park.
Let me fix said part right there, and made sure we were good to go before I left the store. Let me tell ya, that was amazing. I’ve been into autozone a million times over my life. I’ve never been met with actual care for making sure I find everything I need.

We jumped the car in the parking lot where it died, but Since we were driving long distance, we decided not to risk it dying again. We drove about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg to reach This autozone. The man who waited on us seemed confused about what kind of car we had. (Told him it was a 2018 Subaru Outback) so I went out to the car to get the vin. We were made to wait on The line a second time in order to give the man our VIN so he could figure out what kind of battery we needed. He then told us that they were out of stock on the battery. This struck us as strange considering SSB 25PRM battery type is one of the most common battery types sold.
