I ordered 9 chicken tacos and 1 carne asada taco. I received 9 carne asada tacos and 1 chicken taco. The reason I ordered 9 chicken tacos was because someone in our group cannot eat red meat. We called the store to notify them of the mix up and see what options we had as far as rectifying the issue, and were quickly put on hold. After a little while, the line was dropped. We called back and were put on hold again. After a little while once again, the line dropped. After calling the 3rd time, we were given the option of either getting a refund or going all the way back, reordering, waiting for the tacos to cook, and trading the order we received originally out for the correct order. We opted for the refund, and once again, the call dropped. It is unclear if service is just really bad on their end or if they were purposely hanging up. After calling back the 4th time now, they decided to remake 9 chicken tacos and not charge us. When we arrived, the woman who spoke English was apologetic and helpful, but the other woman seemed irritated and agitated. Originally, we wanted to go in with an open understanding, but each time the call dropped, it became more and more frustrating. Read moreI loved this place! The food was delicious and they had a pretty good variety. In addition, they also had a lot of Mexican snacks for that snack itch right after eating. The people there are super friendly too which I really appreciated because I rolled in their with 7 kids and my sister right behind me with another 3 and her husband. They were patient and understand with us, took our order and got it all right. Afterwards we made a second round of orders because we wanted snacks and again they were awesome about it. The cherry on top was that I took my father in law, who is deaf. Well wouldn’t you know it, the cook struck up a conversation with him because he also was deaf and knew sign language. I would definitely recommend this place I only wish I had taken pictures...
Read moreI was hesistant to stop in, even though I suspected the food would be really good - worried I wouldn't quite be able to figure out what to order, and I don't speak Spanish. This place is charming, appears to be family owned, and the lady taking my order was very friendly and happy to walk me through placing my large takeout order for my family. (I believe she didn't think my order was very large.) The food was very fresh and surprisingly spicy - which I loved. We had tacos, tortas, and gorditas. Highly recommend giving them a try.
Incidentally, for those like me who wouldn't know, "Zacatecana" means the food is of/from (in the style of) Zacatecas - a...
