Purchased a necklace and charm here for $250. The chain and charm fell off my neck at work, not even two weeks later. Glad I noticed, or I could have lost the charm! When I contacted the jeweler that sold it to me, I was told “I have to be careful with it it’s fragile and he will fix it for free” and I’d go a few days w/o it. I said being that I bought it as a Christmas gift for myself, I didn’t wanna part with it and not be able to wear it. Asked can he just replace it being that it hasn’t even been 30 days. He said “I will replace it this time.” He did. And the next day, that chain also broke. Changing my shirt. And when I asked can I give that back and pay a little more towards a more sturdy chain, I was told another $250! I would’ve thought, I would’ve received some sort of deal for the inconvenience of two necklaces breaking back to back. And having to drive 30 minutes each way twice. As a first time customer, this was not a pleasant experience. And I didn’t feel comfortable spending the exact amount I paid for the chain and charm initially , again for a chain that doesn’t break. Nor did it make me want to spend money there again in the future. Now I know that if I purchase something there and it breaks, the only option is to pay more money for something of a greater quality. Just sell quality from the beginning. I do love the charm, but I would not recommend. I have since bought a gold necklace that I am happy with for the charm and it was less than $250 and it has not broken doing the soft duties I do as a woman and a professional in the Dental industry! I’m not a rough or wild person. And I own a bunch of jewelry. I know how to handle things delicately with care. This was of no wrongdoing of my own. Nice jewelry but very expensive. Definitely do not pay the price tag on it. But the people who work there are very kind, helpful l, considerate and respectful. Just the prices were a little out of my league.To top that off I went to another jewlery store to have my necklace appraised and they stated they would have sold me the same necklace for 1/6 of the price which they had a similar one for just that.
