Literally the worst target I've ever been to. Went around 5pm on a Sunday and literally all the shelves in the grocery are empty. We couldn't even get the milk we came for. And it is also apparent that they don't even carry any of the items that any other target usually would carry, for example they don't have any clothing and a very limited cosmetics section
And worst of all is the parking situation, it is too difficult to find the entrance to the parking garage, and the garage itself is confusing and long winded to actually get into the target.
And worst of all is that the PARKING IS NOT FREE. It is literally $5 for every 30 minutes. Meaning if you spend an hour here you have to pay $10 for parking.
And not only that but the parking exit is downright dangerous. The kiosk to pay for parking is literally at a dangerous upward incline so you have to literally put your car in park mid-hill and still risk it rolling backwards and hitting the person waiting to exit behind you (almost happened to us).
They supposedly give you a voucher for free parking if you spend more than $20 (it printed out a voucher for us with our receipt) but the kiosk wasn't accepting our voucher, we had to call the help service.
Also saw multiple people in the store looking for employees to help them, for example at the order pick up counter which was abandoned. It literally seemed like no one works here. All the checkouts are actually self checkouts!!
0/10 experience, would recommend to avoid completely, don't waste your time. There is nothing sold here that you can't find at nearby CVS...
Read moreThe staff or policies directing staff are highly disappointing at this small downtown Target. More detail at the end....Because I work downtown and have been tasked with buying cleaning/general supplies I've been at the Pittsburgh downtown Target three times in the last month because it is located a short walk away. In general it's surprising how many items they can get into such a small space so I've been able to pick up sunscreen, a quality tape measure, and a mop and bucket and organic snacks all in one place. However each time I am leaving Target I have to deal with "the workers" who don't actually work. Sometimes there are up to 3 hanging out between the two "people" check outs, often talking with each other and ignoring the public. And then there are half a dozen self check outs. Typically I have a bunch of items and I do not want to self check out. Many people love self check out. But I do not. I'll even wait 5 minutes to have a person to person experience. But at this Target the staff act rude and annoyed when I request to check out with them and try to ignore me so I will give up. This last time, there was one check out person, and no one else around and when I attempted to check out with him, he refused and said RETURNS only. I mentioned several times I would prefer to check out with a person and he refused and repeated again he was for RETURNS or when someone "REALLY NEEDS ASSISTANCE" in a condescending tone. Anyway. I'm done downtown Target, I will not...
Read moreYour mileage may vary, but I typically shop at Target stores for clothes and home goods. As other reviews here stated, this felt like a CVS with a grocery store attached, but I would maybe say a Dollar General vibe, too, especially near the cashiers. It's has a tiny footprint, and I kept looking to see if there were other floors. I went looking to see if they had jeans or shoes, and I couldn't even find any clothes, unless it was the five square feet hidden in one corner that was so packed with people that I didn't even try to look. I can't comment on the prices (I didn't actually buy anything) or the parking (I don't drive), or security stalking me (I'm a white guy), but there seemed to be a decent selection of produce . . . although I go to an actual grocery store for that. Really, I was just hoping I wouldn't have to go out of my way to East Liberty, but I guess I will continue to do that. Stopping in for a vegetable or something I need to cook dinner on my way home to the North Side from work in Oakland is probably the only reason I'd ever return to this location. The extra time to get to East Liberty...
