Today was the first time I shopped in-store as I normally shop online. Sadly, I won’t be returning at all after today’s experience. I ordered a jumpsuit online that I planned to wear to an upcoming event. I couldn’t get it past my thighs. Being familiar with the return policy, I immediately placed it back in the bag to return it when I had some free time. I found two new items while in store that I wanted to purchase. When I went to check out, I was told I couldn’t get a full refund because, “we would never put a tag on like this”. I was initially confused (because I wasn’t asking for a refund) but was able to gather that it was being implied that I had removed the tag and put it back on. There isn’t a soul on this planet that would label me as dishonest or sneaky. They weren’t willing to explore any other possible way the tag could have been “improperly” attached to the item because they aren’t human and mistakes aren’t made there. If you choose to shop here I recommend always going in-person to avoid being made out to be dishonest. Unfortunately for me, there’s no way to prove I didn’t tamper with the tag at all. Today my sister and I made a plan to shop at apricot lane today (she’s visiting from out of town). Unfortunately, when we walked in we were greeted by beautiful clothes but not an actual person. Meanwhile, there were two employees at the register and the store was completely empty. Not thinking much of it we continued to look and a few moments later 2 people of a different race walked in and they were greeted right away. The cutest most unique pieces. Affordable prices. Every time I have shopped in store I have had very helpful associates. I would rate higher if not for the following things: 1. Better size and fit descriptions when shopping online. A fit video description would be great. 2. Not offering mid size or plus size selections. It’s 2023 make shopping here for everyone.
