My fiance and I had an amazing experience working with Keith and Sandra on my custom wedding band. My engagement ring is from the 1920's and has a unique edge. I knew we would have to have something custom made but we had been to a few places and didn't have any luck with other custom places so I was feeling a bit pessimistic about getting a band. I am so thrilled that we went to Wax before we gave up on our search. Keith created a wedding band that is above and beyond what I thought was possible! I knew Wax was the right place as soon as I showed my ring to Keith. He made a few suggestions on how we could bring some of the design of the engagement ring into the wedding band and how to design the band so it would fit against my engagement ring. Keith was the first jeweller to really understand what I was looking for and was willing to make it happen. We had a diamond ring from my grandmother and Keith was able to incorporate the diamonds into my band which makes it extra special since those diamond are from her engagement ring.

This was our first time having something custom made for us so we were unsure what to expect and were a bit nervous. Keith and Sandra made this a wonderful experience for us. Keith sketched my engagement ring and the band during our initial consultation. He also quoted a price range at the initial consultation and the final price was within that range. I contacted Keith after reading all the great reviews about WAX and his and Sandra's work. Although his main business is designing new, unique pieces of jewelry, I called to ask if he would consider a more ordinary "boring" job. I had found my mom's original wedding band, which was missing four of six diamonds because she had had it redesigned many years ago and used those diamonds in another setting along with her engagement ring, and asked Keith if he could replace the diamonds. He spent alot of time with me talking about the remaining diamonds (which were cracked and no good), the settings (which needed repaired), and about how I wanted to keep the engraving that my dad had put in the ring. He told me about how jewelers cover 18k gold with Rhodium to make the ring shinier, but that he liked the look of original gold and would shine my ring in it's natural state. It was about three weeks before Christmas and he said he could have it ready before then. He ended up putting in six new diamonds, fixing a small fracture in the ring itself, and shining it up beautifully and he even returned the cracked diamonds with ideas on how to possibly include them in a piece of jewelry. I came to Keith for a custom engagement/wedding ring set after seeing some of his beautiful nature inspired jewelry on instagram. He has a keen eye for detail and a very fine and precise hand. I knew he would make me something beautiful. I wanted a cluster ring with a nesting wedding band using moissanite rather than diamonds. Keith was very open to working with me on the design and letting me take the lead about how I wanted the rings to look. He was sometimes slow to respond to email but everytime I came in to see the progress he spent upwards of 30-40 min answering my questions and sketching things out for me. He also sent me progress pictures of the rings in the different stages of development (sketches, wax molds, etc). He was willing to make changes when I asked, even if it meant redoing some work he had previously completed. He charged a very reasonable price for such professional and intricate custom work.
