I can’t recommend Weisshouse strongly enough. When you walk through the door you know you are in for a high quality experience. Their furniture is modern and eclectic. Though I haven’t had a need to purchase furniture there, I have purchased carpeting for our own home and for our rental properties. I knew I would find beautiful carpeting for my own home - my home is Victorian with wood floors. I needed a runner for the stairs that led to a landing with a very large stained glass window. Though the architecture is Victorian, I wanted something more modern that would also go with the stained glass window. Betsy Daly, the amazing interior designer at Weisshouse, instantly picked out the perfect pattern - durable for the stairs, beautiful and just the look I wanted to achieve. I also purchased elegant, but durable carpeting for a rental property that had an interesting look, but was much less expensive than other ordinary carpeting that traditional flooring stores showed me. The carpet transformed the apartment. Not only were both products impressive, but the installation was done very carefully and completed on time. I also purchased blinds for my breakfast room that has tall windows on all sides. I wanted to continue to let in light, but also maintain some privacy. Betsy Daley again came through with sheer, accordion style blinds that can be either raised or lowered depending on the need. Again, the installation was perfect. You can’t go wrong with Weisshouse. In the process of looking for a pair of custom rocking/swivel chairs, we were not especially excited for the daunting process as we have experienced over-zealous salespersons in furniture stores prior, and this sales approach is less than desirable for us. We appreciate the sales staff have a job to do, and they are most-likely commission based, however, shopping with a salesperson hovering in close proximity is not at all appealing to us.

Prior to shopping at Weisshouse, we visited other furniture stores and almost immediately turned around due to the above-mentioned practices. From the moment we stepped into Weisshouse, we felt "at home" with the greeting, the unique selection of quality pieces, and the anonymity to peruse at our leisure. Within literally minutes, we identified a chair for customization and shortly thereafter, selected fabric, discussed the production timeline, and wrote up our sales order. We were thrilled with our experience and very much appreciated Betsy's guidance when consulted.

The craftsmanship of the furniture is outstanding and the custom upholstery is of a high-quality finish. We absolutely LOVE our new chairs and look forward to enjoying their comfortable and cozy embrace for many years to come.

One last note to mention is that Weisshouse do NOT outsource their deliveries, rather, they employ their own delivery team, so you can rest assured that you receive white-glove service from beginning to end with a true sense of ownership and pride.

Wow! They know what they are doing. This is the kind of place you wish that other business’s were regarding service and selection. It is customer centered and backed up by designers who have an eye and a passion for design. Betsy has worked with us most consistently over the years and has been terrific, I have also had great experiences with all of the designers when I have dropped in to look around or ask questions. The selections on the floor are unique and eclectic with an uncompromising eye towards quality. You will find some standards and also a variety of pieces to make a space sing. I appreciate the use of sculpture and art peppered throughout the showroom. Their selection of floor coverings are in plenty and varied, we purchased all of our wool carpets over 20 years ago and they are still like new.
