A few years ago, I was shopping with my Mom. We were in line at a local retail business when she mentioned that she needed a battery for her watch. Another shopper spoke up and said try LSO, you can get a watch battery for $1.00.....so we checked it out. My Mom left there with a beautiful sapphire and diamond ring very reasonably priced and a new battery for her watch. I noticed this beautiful emerald and diamond cross and when Christmas rolled around, I mentioned this to my husband...he was travelling quite a bit at this time in some rough seas, so I asked him for this as a Christmas gift so I could wear this cross on my neck to keep him safe and so he obliged. The customer service at LSO was amazing so I found myself back there when my Birthday and Mother's day rolled around, and left there with an amazing silver bracelet and ring and a beautiful sterling silver anchor with a crucifix and chain for my husband also as he was getting home soon from another voyage at sea. We just recently celebrated our 11th Wedding Anniversary and so my original engagement ring was updated. The three .15 diamonds that represented Love, Trust and Respect were reset with a fourth .15 and a .43 Pear in the middle - we added Longevity and the Pear for FOREVER. Kristin Bolden was amazing as she totally re-designed the ring and setting...with Larissa Oprysk's assistance. My ring is more than I could have ever imagined. Stan, the owner, is an amazing person and jeweler...we always feel that warm and fuzzy feeling when we go there, along with amazing customer service and very affordable pricing. I could not recommend any other jeweler in St. Lucie County that could match the value and quality that I have experienced at LSO and they will continue to be our jewelers as we have been totally satisfied with their experience and knowledge. Thank you, Stan, Kristin and Larissa for providing top quality service always...looking forward to seeing my husband's Gold T-Bolt Anchor and Chain when it comes in. Patrick and Mary...
Read moreAvoid LSO Jeweler. Bad service, rude and inexperienced. Got a battery replaced in my high end watch, which they charged $32. The battery lasted 3 months and died. I took it back and right off the back, the owner defensively told me that itâs not the battery. Told me that most likely thereâs nothing wrong with the battery and that I would need to have the watch overhauled and it will cost me. To leave it there to be looked at again. At this time, I had brought in a simple watch to have the battery replaced. She gave it back to me and said she canât replace it because she canât open it. It was apparent that she was put out that I brought back the other watch. If this attitude was in response to the displeasure of a customer complaining about something that wasnât fixed properly, then, shame on you! If it wasnât, then, obviously they are inexperienced if they canât open a simple watch to replace the battery. Seeing how she handled this situation, I had reservation about leaving my expensive watch there for them to examine and I took my watch back. This merchant showed rude service to their customer and also showed that they are inexperienced if they couldnât open a simple watch to change out the battery. I took my watch to another jeweler and they replaced the battery and it works perfectlyâso, it turned out they were using old batteries. The watch they couldnât open, the other jeweler opened without any issues and replaced the battery. Either way, stay away from this merchant because this bad attitude, and rudeness came from the owner. This is the tone she sets for her business. Thereâs too many good businesses out there that treat their customers fairly, and respectfully; there's no need to give your hard earned money to a dishonest, rude merchant who is inexperienced at the...
Read moreTook several watches in to have battery replaced. One was a Luminox Watch. These watches are worn by some of the most rugged people on Earth. Unbeknownst to me the watch was pressurized to make it water proof. I was not asked about my watch usage nor offered to have the battery replaced under this pressure, which I would have done without a thought, as this watch is special to me. I took the watch into my pool which I had done 100s of times previously. After the LSO replacement it filled with water instantly. I called and stopped by and was advised it was my fault. Not only was this my fault I was told to buy a Diver's Watch. Which of course they were happy to sell me. Lesson learned customer care does not exist at LSO. $80 movement to fix my Luminox from a professional watch maker. They also showed me the form they have people sign regarding pressurized watch battery replacement. Beware is all I can say.
Store indicates the watch I have is not designed for what I use it for: From Luminox Website: Trusted and requested by elite forces around the globe, Luminox has earned a reputation for toughness, durability and visibility in all light conditions, making it the perfect timepiece. If LSO had any knowledge of watches, they would have suggested that I go beyond a $1 battery...
