Rock N Roll Sushi — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

We ordered here for the 1st time last night. Had it delivered they use 3rd party delivery service. Food came and half of it was missing. Food was cold, and barely inedible. The TnT shrimp were literally shrimp fries again not edible they were over cooked and very hard to the point it hurt my mouth. The wontons are hard as a rock. The Jalapeño poppers were undercooked, not prepped properly with zero flavor. The sampler appetizer came with no sauces but advertised as having two sauces and they only thing that was wasn’t over fried or burnt was the pork eggroll, which was actually good. The crab Rangoon’s were fried to a solid concrete uneditable with way too much breading, and minimal cream cheese on the inside with just a little bit of crab meat. I did order the punk rock sushi roll, which I will admit was tasty. The combination of the tuna with the strawberry cucumber and jalapeño was a great combination. But for the price point of what they charge this food should be exemplary without any flaws. My recommendation was get rid of your third-party delivery, service and use in house delivery. This place has so much potential, and the sushi rolls we tried were fantastic. However, our overall experience left a lot to be desired. Our party of four received our food at wildly different times, with my child’s meal arriving about 20 minutes after the first plate hit the table—and even then, it was the wrong order. My own order was also incorrect, and the rice was overcooked and mushy. My hibachi meal also came with soup that never came out.

What made the experience worse was the lack of an apology from our server for the mistakes. To top it off, the incorrect items were still included on our bill (im talking additional charges that would NOT have been there if order was correct). As someone who has worked in food and beverage for over 10 years, I know mistakes happen, but it’s how they’re handled that makes the difference. When mistakes are made, an acknowledgment and apology go a long way in maintaining goodwill with your customers. Instead, I got a coupon for free wontons 🤷🏼‍♀️

We came here yesterday 4/19 @ 6:30 pm (Saturday). We were super excited to try everything & we love try new places. Our server was very sweet and so that is one of the only reasons this place was enjoyable aside from the great atmosphere! However, we attempted to order 3 different items and were told they were “out of it”. One being an appetizer and two other things being sushi rolls. They were also “out of” ramen. So I found this to be extremely strange and disappointing since it was early on a Saturday night. Anyway, the sushi we ordered ended up being the jam sesh, spicy tuna roll, and California roll. I feel like each roll tasted like a Publix sushi roll. The rice was very soggy and overall lacked flavor. The hibachi fried rice (we ordered one shrimp and one plain). Very greasy, soggy, and had an extremely charred flavor. The plain one still had a bunch of chunks of plain white rice and lacked flavor. Lastly the appetizer (one that was actually still available) don’t recall the name but it was a fried tempura shrimp which was very tasty.

So overall I’d rate my experience here 5.5/10. I won’t be returning when I know much better sushi places exist in...
