I would like to start with my love for target. Ive shopped there for many years and it really has always excited me to go into target stores, until today. I have never been treated so poorly and been disrespected in ALL my life. I am a professional with a masters degree and ive never been in trouble with the law. So to walk into a target and only be 10ft in the store, have two male mangers approach me immediately to accuse me of abusing the coupon policy and state that im "demonstrating behaviors of a reseller" becsuse ive been to target " 4 times this week." I feel completly insulted, offended and embarrassed. The so called"employee" that addressed me (i say that in quotations because he was in regular civilian clothing and not in uniform, or name tag presenting) procedded to question me about what i did with the items i purchased. Does target ask all their customers what they do with their purchases???? Ive never heard of his being in the policy. "Employee" proceeded to speak over me and would not allow me to finish my question, this happened several times, even though i jindly asked him to stop speaking over me. "Employee" was not able to verbilze or explain targets policy and ggen proceeded to deny me the right to purchase. Originally i cane to target to pick up an online order, which was alreafy paid for, so i was not able to do that. In addition when i contacted corporate, i was told managers hold the right to limit coupon use and deny services. Under what basis was i denied either!????! I was 10ft in the store. I was not being disruptive, i have not been clearing out shelves, i have not stolen, or broken any law to warrant this "employees" disrespectful behavior towards me. After speaking with a supervisor during my call go coporate, i was told that there will be no guarantees that a regional manager would contact me to follow up. Im completely outraged that target corp, allows this kind of behavior towards a long standing customer that holds a credit card with them. I belive this mattr needs to be followed up with and changes need to occur. Providing me with a gift card or an apology over the phone will not repair the humiliation i encountered. Read moreShirley is awful. I go there VERY often. VERY often. I I chose the self check out closest to where Shirley was standing all the way at the end near where she was standing. She then comes up next to me pretending to fix the gum display but I looked at what she was fiddling with and it was fine. She was obviously 10 inches over my shoulder watching me check out. I don’t appreciate that just because my hair was messy and I had work clothes on she feels the need to pick me out of all the people in checkout to stand over their neck. Then I needed her help as I didn’t want an item I thought I scanned. She just starred at me when I turned my head to ask for her help. For 10 seconds starred at me like she was annoyed I asked and just looked at me like I should have said oh nevermind. Then I moved a little more out of the way thinking she needed more room cause I had initially moved it off the way for her to get to the computer as I know the drill. Then she finally goes to take it off but I had never scanned it. She then was being even more rude and I am completed stunned at this point feeling like I was too big and she couldn’t believe I didn’t give her enough room to move closer or something or like I was a piece of trash. She absolutely stereotyped me as a white trash slob is who had to be watched legit over their shoulder. I’d love to point it out on camera what she did. I’m a field manager for corporate chain I know what she was doing messing with the gum and I don’t blame her. But what I do blame her for is her horrible treatment of me, the way she spoke to me and her absolute lack of customer service, and acting like I was disgusting for needing her assistance. Read moreUpon exchanging my cat&jack clothing according to the 1 year policy. I had a extremely rude employee who continued to argue with me regarding false information even after pulling the cat & jack clothing policy up for her she continued to be belligerent and condescending. She purposely input the wrong clothing sku codes to drag out the transaction telling me they didn’t work as I present my receipts to her. Reminder today is Mother’s Day so spending over an hour completely set back my events and plans I had for the day, never mind ruining it with the extreme frustration. She continued to argue and drag out the transaction in hopes to discourage me for over an hour until another employee took over and had no problem scanning my receipts on my target app and honoring the cat & jack policy. I am a regular customer of minimal 2-3 visits weekly but will definitely not return to this specific target location due to the lack of customer service I received today and the drawn out time I had to wait due to her purposeful intent to discourage my exchange. I am a mother of 4 children so sitting there while this woman continued to argue with me and trying to entertain my children throughout this drawn out process which should have taken only a few minutes at best. The worker was very rude and incompetent, very prideful even when displaying the policy to her she continued to be belligerent and argue that she already knew the policy even when providing her proof directly from the website.
