We visit the Jensen location once a week but last night we were doing some shopping in tradition so decided to stop by this location instead.
The meal starting out wonderfully, our server was very nice and attentive even though she had plenty of tables. Salad and soup were amazing and the manager even touched our table which as a restaurant general manager and certified food manager myself, I definitely can appreciate.
I ordered the chicken carbonara, I am allergic to bell peppers so I ordered it with no bell peppers and extra bacon. The food was taking a little longer than usual and our server came to the table and apologized saying they were remaking it over because they put peppers in it.
I got my food and immediately noticed there was no bacon at all when I ordered extra, that was fine though, I am not usually a complainer and began eating it anyway, after the first bite my tounge started tingling, I started digging through the pasta and found several small pieces of bell pepper where they never remade it, they only attempted to pick out the peppers.
I brought this to the attention of our server showing her the peppers, she apologized but did not offer a remake, I told her it was OK, I would just take it home to my husband.
She said she told the manager but he never came to the table, offered an apology or anything of the sort.
My suggestion to the restaurant is when a customers tells you they want to obmit an item from their dish due to an allergy, it needs to be voiced to the kitchen as a priority. Had I eaten anymore than I did, it could have turned our very differently.
I will not return to this location, not because of the bell peppers but because the lack of an apology or communication from management for a mistake that literally could have easily sent me into anaphlactic shock had I only eaten a...
Read moreIf you are looking for a real challenge then go to this restaurant for lunch and ask for the really tall server.
You cannot miss him. He is the one that moves around like a sloth. Sorry, that’s not fair, to the sloth.
When he finally comes to your table don’t bother to try to listen for his name because he garbles it too badly got you to understand.
Once seated try the fun game on asking him for things you want. See how many times it takes you to get them. We averaged three requests before he finally brought an item, such as salt or pepper, to the table.
Several times he just never bothered to bring them at all. He did though employ tried and true mundane excuses though including the ever popular “we are out” or “I am waiting for a new batch to come out of the kitchen” to excuse his not bringing them to you.
If you order something to drink make sure you savor it and drink it slowly. He will never ask you if you want another.
While waiting enjoy yourself watching him transverse the restaurant in ever widening and diverse serpentine patterns designed to avoid your table. This is especially true if you have children with you, no matter how well behaved they may be.
If this restaurant were on the west coast of the country I would say this sever is just going through the motions of working there until his big break in acting came along.
Sadly, since it is on the east coast I cannot justify why he is so bad at his job.
In the end he is just a lethargic, indifferent, and poorly skilled individual who does not seem to be able, or want to, do a good job.
Still, if you are feeling up for a challenge go there and ask for him.
Just remember to take your blood pressure readings before you go in and after you come out in order to get an accurate indication of your experience.
Good luck, you...

We got two Tour of Italy's Pasta Fegoli and a Kid Child play Pizza with French fries .The temperature of the food was spot on it was fresh and perfectly portioned. Olive Garden has and will always be my favorite go- to. I have been eating at Olive Garden all over the world for over 24 years now. I love it so much I wish we had stock in the company, because this would be one of the smartest/best investments I could/would make in my life. The server Assia was very friendly, happy go lucky and professional. She was on top of everything from refills, upselling and making sure we weren't in need for anything. Even seeing her interaction with her other tables she always had so much positivity going on. She is definitely an asset to this establishment. The manager Crystal Schulmeister and Jockens Jn Baptiste were also very friendly, they walked around checking in on their guest and gave helping hands whenever needed. Everyone was really team driven. My family and I was beyond impressed and can't wait to come back. We just wanted to say thank you Olive Garden for being such a delight and a ray of sunshine for me and my family. I come to Olive Garden atleast 50 times a year and would come way more if there was one closer to where we lived. We basically drive atleast a hour away, because you almost never disappoint.
