Advanced Body Concepts — Local services in Portland

The facial itself is effective and the staff are kind and attentive. However, the scheduling process and consistency within this company needs a lot of work. I experienced two no-shows and several appointment time changes that were handled either last-minute or haphazardly. I understand that schedules need to be optimized, but the changes were frequent and inconsistent enough that it became overly disruptive for my own scheduling.

I purchased a package deal that included discounts for 4 facials, but I decided after the second no-show, since it has been a nightmare trying to even get an appointment, that I wanted to stop using this company and would like a partial refund for the facials that I did not use (3 out of 4 of them). Ever since requesting the refund, the owner has not responded to my communications and presumably will not be refunding me.

Company is ignoring my repeated attempts to contact them to refund my deposit. I placed a deposit months ago for two facials and set an appointment. That appointment was cancelled by the company on short notice and I was unable to re-schedule as I went out of the country for an extended time shortly after. When I got home, I didn’t have enough time remaining in Portland to fit two facials (needed 6 weeks in between). I’m a travel nurse and am only in town for a short time and they were aware of this when I paid said deposit. I’ve since tried emailing, calling (no one EVER answers) and even responding to their automated texts multiple times to get a refund and have gotten no response. I did however get a call to “schedule my next facial” and when I told her I had actually been trying to contact them for a refund as I no longer live there, she told me she was unable to do that and a manager would call me - that was over a month ago.
