it was our very first time at Mazatlan Restaurant, my family members have been there many many times, we thought it was gonna be a great experience, the server looked and acted like if it was his first day which is okay, but that doesn’t give you the right to messed up our order many times, and never apologize. every time we ask for something he gave us an attitude, It took more than 40 minutes to get our food, not even once he come back to our table to check if we needed anything, we needed water and drinks and never once stop by. Not even the manager Carlos?? we asked to speak with the manager to complain about the situation, we never once asked for a discount on the bill but Carlos said he will give a discount to one of my family members because they’ve been there many times and they were customers and we were not ?? Carlos needs customer skills because he doesn’t have no idea how to treat people. I really don’t think he was a manager because he didn’t act like one. I will never go back to Mazatlan, not even my family members. As loyal patrons who have dined at your establishment many times—especially as we attend Thorns games—we have also introduced many of our friends and family to your restaurant. Given our history of supporting your business, the treatment we received was not only shocking but entirely unacceptable. During our visit, we were subjected to degrading and condescending behavior by Luis. Instead of being welcomed as valued customers, we were treated disrespectfully, and when we attempted to address the issue, Luis confronted us in an extremely dismissive and unprofessional manner rather than offering an apology. This is not the level of hospitality one expects from a business that relies on customer loyalty and word-of-mouth recommendations. We have always enjoyed bringing guests to your restaurant, but after this experience, we are questioning whether we can continue to do so. Respect and professionalism should be at the core of any successful establishment, and unfortunately, our experience fell far below that standard. Read moreWish I could give a zero. If you’re lucky you’ll get a mediocre experience here. Food is so so, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We’ve tried it a few times and the service seemed to be getting increasingly worse each time. Today we had to search out our server to place a dinner order after our apps and to even get a second round of drinks. We asked for more water and the apparently were inconveniencing the server when doing so (he was sitting down in a booth with other workers just talking), because he brought over an entire pitcher and didn’t refill the glasses and just left the pitcher for us to refill and made some rude comment to my husband and told him “not to suffer” because now we had everything we needed. When he came back to the table later to give us our check- we were both so disgusted and hadn’t drank the water as we just wanted to eat and get out of there already annoyed we had spent our hard earned money here when we could have gotten better service at the chipotle across the street- he had the audacity to comment on the fact that we had not drank any of the water and laughed as he walked away.
