Daedalus, in contrast to the famous Powell's City of Books, is a gem. They are small, but quite selective when it comes to the quality of the literature they offer. Topics ranging from maritime to Asia, to PNW, metaphysics, cooking, crocheting, childrenâs, (actually a really cool selection of kids books) I feel like if you have subject in mind you will certainly find something interesting. Their back room is quadruple compared to their sales floor. It gives a sort mystical magical âoooo whatâs back there?â vibe and I love it. They said itâs overstock, to-be-shelved, online catalog, etc. Iâm pretty sure thereâs like elves or dragons or pots of gold. But...
