This is the first time I'm writing a review ahead of being a "consumer." But after reading the reviews already written, I'm incensed enough at Star Park to post this. Obviously the day rate is less than if one looses their ticket---Star Park charges "guests" MORE than the day rate when a ticket is lost. And, doesn't refund after a lost ticket has been found. That's NOT a company worth giving ANY business to IMHO. Am going to be staying at the Nines and without question won't be parking at Alder Street Garage (or ANY parking facility run by Star Park.) I looked into this company. Editorial written by Star Park for themselves starts with, "Star Park is an honest, service-based parking management and services company..." Something for work fell out of my pocket on my way out of my car, and the only way to get into the elevator and get back up to my car was to pay, leave, and come back and repark. I was already strapped for time so I didnāt have that option. I called the help line on the kiosk to ask if there was any way to get back up to my car, and instead of answering my question I got hung up on. Instead of just charging me a full day's rate, they charged me $65. Several days later, I found the ticket and requested a refund. They now had the time I entered and the time I left (with the credit card charge), but refused to refund me the difference.
