KGW 8 — Local services in Portland

What was once an informative news program in the morning has become a goofy group of caffeine injected newscasters constantly interrupting each other, trying to out smart the last comment, and thinking that their personal opinion on each matter is really that important. This new lineup of three to five people at a time on the set constantly giving us their personal experience or opinion is just another talk show, all of which are all fairly easy to turn off. If you really want to call it news, send those anchors back to school or watch some Peter Jennings/Tom Brokaw reruns for real delivery. Hopefully, that won't...

Absolutely enjoyed volunteering again this year for the toy drive. The atmospher was very cheerful and the staff is always friendly and engaged. Seeing all the donated toys brings tears of joy. Such an amazing event to participate in. I especially loved the brand new hand crafted baby bassinets and Rudolph the red nose reindeer so much thought and love from whoever made these. Can't wait to volunteer again next year it's my favorite...

I recently switched to KGW because KOIN has become ugly tabloid. Karla Kostanga and the rest are too delighted about causing some poor sucker even more pain by publicizing a petty issue.
