This is an enjoyable smaller venue! The stage is nicely raised above the lower floor and there also is a higher area around the perimeter, so all had a nice view of the performers. There is a bar along one wall. The evening I was there, there was limited seating, so if you need to sit, plan to get there when the doors first open. Very spacious with high ceilings. There is a parking garage right next door on Temple Street, $5 an hour. Although be aware that the garage closes at midnight and if the security guard has to come let you out after midnight he will charge you an additional $35. Debit or credit only at the garage. My only downside to this particular evening was that there were two beer swilling millennials next to me who thought it was okay to dance to the up-tempo songs and then turn their backs to the performers and chat during the slower songs. I could handle the dancing, but really got peeved when they were interfering with my ability to hear. They were indignant that I politely asked them to not talk and also told me they would not stop talking and would not go talk in any other location in the venue. I didn't complain to management, I just tried to ignore them... Maybe if I had danced between the two of them it would have chased...

My friend requested ADA seating for us (non-visible disability, I do not believe the bathrooms have wheelchair access) and this was by far the best spot we’ve had at a venue. We’re used to upper mezzanines and folding chairs all crammed together, but here we had an actual high top table and chairs close to the front on the upper level about eye-level with the stage, so we could see perfectly. Amber even came over to make sure we were all set. With this being a smaller venue we weren’t sure if we’d get shoved in a corner or something, but we got the exact opposite.
All the staff were super kind, bar has a great tap list, and the show drew a friendly crowd. There’s even a parking garage right next door. This venue is doing...
Read moreBeing an old dude I thought I might feel a bit out of place when I went here with friends to attend a retro emo-themed event with burlesque. One of my friends' son was playing in the band featured that evening. The show was truly bizarre but enjoyable. The venue is really interesting- the stage is a decent size and there seems to be enough space for several hundred people. The acoustics were acceptable and the beer selection was decent. I really didn't feel so out of place considering I was about 25 to 30 years older than the average age of the patrons...
