I was in a dilemma when my renters informed me that the gas grill I had at my rental property was not working properly.I tried to order one online to have delivered and I was not able to do it as my email was not working at the time ( I needed to update it) and seeing that I’m not much of a computer person I did not have time to waste I called the store and wanted to order it over the phone and was told they do not take credit card over the phone and the sales associate connected to the manager Joel. After speaking with Joel and hearing my desperation he decided to do it for me and told me that it would be assembled and delivered the next day!! I was ecstatic and grateful for the compassion and understanding that he showed me. Sure enough the delivery person called me to say it was on its way and called me again when they arrived to describe the house just to make sure it was the right house. In this day in age when just about everything is generated thru email and contactless service it is nice to know there are some managers that will accommodate you, so thank you very much Joel to you and your team! After removing our window AC units for the season, we realized our window screens were damaged and needed repair or replacement. Tim, Darian, and the others at the Ace Hardware on Conwell could not have been more helpful. Based on the condition of our screens, they recommended replacing the screens, but not buying new frames. Not only were they 100% right, but the repairs took just over an hour to complete. We were amazed.

As we paid for the work, we were told they would call us when the repairs were completed and the screens were ready for pick-up, possibly up to two weeks. That seemed reasonable, especially since the weather is getting cooler and we will not be keeping the windows open much. Well, as I walked into the house from dropping off the screens, the phone rang. "This is Tim from ACE Hardware. Your screens are done and ready to be picked up." What?! In less than two hours, the task was completed perfectly, professionally, and for far less than buying new screens. Excellent customer service! I recently was shopping at Ace in Provincetown and my purchase was about $40. When I got back to my car I realized I had forgotten to buy batteries. I went back in the store to get the batteries and now my total purchases for the day would be over $50, such that I would be eligible to use my ACE Rewards $10 coupon. I asked the customer service representative (I believe his name was Darian) if I could combine the purchases and use the coupon. Understanding this request likely would cause more work for him, I expected the answer to be no - but he said YES! He combined the transactions, so that I could use my coupon. I found this to be notable customer service as typically when I try to use coupons in general, cashiers will come up with every reason why they don't apply. Thank you Ace for hiring and developing great employees! (Just to note I think this was only possible because I literally had made the first purchase 5 minutes before the second, so if you have purchases a few days apart I don't think they can combine them for...
