This store intentionally overcharges for their items, and when you show them the price on the tag they yell at you. This happened to me last September (2022) and again today (March 21, 2023). I was overcharged 7 dollars for this sunvisor. I showed the cashier the price, and he acted like he didn't know what I was referring to. He tried to intimidate me by saying "cant you speak"? I showed him the price and he yelled and accused me of shoving the hat in his face, which didn't happen. Then I did speak up. This is their way of doing business. I was also overcharged for a hamper in September, 2021, by about 8 dollars (and the cashier wouldn't change the price). I won't be back, and I'm sorry it took me 3 timed to figure them out. The receipt shows the overcharged amount of 19.99$, and the sunvisor has a tag on it for 12.99$. You can buy these elsewhere in Provincetown for 12.99$ just up the street at Shirts and Stuff. I would have bought it there but they were closed, and I'm only here for a few...

In another incident, a Land's End employee loudly and gleefully imparted salacious political rumors and conspiracy theories at checkout.
This was the last straw.
I live in Provincetown b/c it is a welcoming community to all. However, it is clear that Land's End Marine no longer meets even the most basic standards of decency.
Shame on you, Land's End Marine Hardware! Your failure to properly train your employees - on how to conduct themselves in the presence of customers is astounding and unacceptable. You are giving Ptown a reputation it does...

They also have Arts and crafts fun stuff, paints, tons of tape and adhesive, plus the myriad puttys, goos, to fix/fill all the unexpected holes you make in your 'quick home repair.' Above all, the customer service is great. They all seem to genuinely enjoy themselves. It's definitely worth a walk through the fishing section, if...
