Make sure you get out on time. If you’re one minute over you will be charged for a whole hour of parking. This feels silly because you get a fifteen minute grace period if you pay at the meter and not at the gate on the way out. It feels predatory and unfair. Last weekend they had the lot closed even when there were visible spaces open which was really frustrating. They pushed people towards the lot on the hill and that one was full. It’s a good spot to park and convenient for doing things around the town, I just wish they’d review their policies around paying. Nearby places cost 20-25$ flat rate instead of 4$ an hour or searching around for that lucky open spot.
