I have been in boston for about 6 months and tried almost every indian restaurant here…and trus me this is it..!! If you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute gem!!! The service is top-notch attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu.
It starts with the mango lassi, they have cracked it so well that its just unmatchable.you have to try it, its a must have.
Now, the food The biggest reason i was never a returning customer to other indian restaurants is after 6 months in US your stomach looses the capability to handle spices and they just had too much of it in there food. But this time it was different…Every dish is bursting with vibrant flavours, aroma and adequate amount of spices that transport you straight to India. The chicken tikka masala is a classic, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of richness. The naan is soft, fluffy, and made to perfection, while the biryani is aromatic and packed with tender, flavorful pieces of meat.
The vegetarian options are equally impressive. The paneer is so good , the dal makhani is hearty, and the aloo gobi is a delight. I am pritty sure i wont be able to stop talking about the samosas and the chole. Each dish is made with fresh ingredients and crafted with care.
Dessert was a showstopper too! The gulab jamun is melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the kheer is a refreshing end to the meal.
I have literally went to this place 10 times in last month and they never disappoint.. same taste same hospitality.
Whether you’re a seasoned lover of Indian cuisine or a newcomer, this restaurant will exceed your expectations in every way. Highly recommend! 5 stars...
Read moreGreat date night spicy restaurant. I recommend the non-vegetarian meal for two which includes Soup, Samosas, Seekh Kabab, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka, Boti Kabab, choice of two entrees (excluding Tandoor Specials) Rice Pullau, Naan, dessert and coffee or tea. Remember that the samosas have shrimp so ask for the vegetarian samosas if your date is allergic to shellfish. Better to give your waiter a 20% tip for substitutions than have your date go into anaphylactic shock from food allergy.
My favorite entrees are the Kerala Fish Curry: Spiced talapia cooked in a red chili curry, Madrasi Fish: Fresh swordfish cooked in a curry sauce with mushrooms green peppers & onions, Sher-A-Punjab Goat: Pieces of goat meat (with bone) cooked in our chef's delightful coconut curry, and Rogan Josh: Lamb cooked with exotic spices, herbs and nuts in a mild yogurt sauce. Ask to substitute your naan for Naan Apricot Date: Unleavened, handmade bread stuffed with fresh apricot and date.
You are probably quite stuffed to bursting by the time to realize you can bring most of the food home with you. Remember is is not a food eating contest so ask waiters to pack up your food so you have room for dessert. Badam Kulfi: Exotic ice cream from India made with saffron, almonds and nuts.
Conveniently located next to Quincy Center MBTA station, plenty of street parking, no wait for tables, friendly attentive waiters, clean environment, and LevelUp app accepted for...
Read moreFood: Paneer Kadai (with fresh homemade cheese cooked with sliced onion, peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms in a sauce with exotic spices); shrimp samosa (spicy turnovers stuffed with minced shrimp, potato, green peas and spices); garlic naan; papadums (with 3 chutneys)
Ambiance: Elegant & tranquil. Parking: Free street parking available. Pricing: Somewhat pricey. Food (flavors): I didn’t feel like the papadum has much flavor but that’s probably so it does not over power the chutney. I apologize in advance for not knowing the name of each chutney. I wasn’t a fan of the green chutney because I don’t like cilantro that much and the cilantro flavor was bold in that chutney. I enjoyed the chutney on the far right because it was sweet. I did not like the chutney in the middle. The shrimp samosa was super flavorful and I loved dipping it in the dressing that was drizzled on the plate. The dressing on the salad and plate was homemade and super delicious. It added a sweet flavor to the dish that I didn’t know I wanted until I had it. The garlic naan was fresh, hot, soft, and coated in enough garlic. And the paneer kadai was bomb! I absolutely loved the flavors the paneer and vegetables were cooked well and the flavor combination was on point. The dish had fatty and savory flavors which I love. Portion size: Large Drinks: N/A
This is my favorite Indian spot!
