Planning Process: We initially met with Sarah when we first toured the venue and the meeting went great, all of our questions were answered and we got a prompt initial quote for the services provided. We were also provided a very useful list of recommended vendors for other services (day-of coordinator, photographer, DJ, etc). Afterwards we started working with Christina, who would become our main Point of Contact for the rest of the time. When we went to do our food tasting and menu selection, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious, and our questions were resolved or followed up on after some research. As we went to do our final walkthrough, Christina worked with our day-of coordinator (Madison from Something Fabulous) and between the two of them, made all of our decision-making smooth and handled a lot of the little items we hadn't initially considered. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Christina was very open and responsive to last minute questions and requests and handled even some indecisiveness on our part with the utmost patience and joy. We were extremely happy at how smooth and painless they made so much of the planning process.
Food & Beverage: The food and beverage was all outstanding! We got countless compliments from our guests during and after the wedding about how delicious everything was. The groom's brother was so enamored with the petite tenders, he ended up eating 25 slices! The macaroni and cheese was hugely popular as well and the Mediterranean chicken was declared "the best chicken they've ever had" by more than one guest. Our only regret regarding the food is that we cannot eat this fine selection on a more regular basis (we live 2 states away). We also had the blood orange martini (renamed Ides of March Martini for our event) which ended up being delicious and also a huge hit to all our guests. We could not have asked for a better meal to celebrate our wedding day.
Liked Best: There were so many things to like, its hard to pick one! The two spaces (Park View & Market View) were gorgeous and totally to our liking, the transition from one to the other was great between ceremony and reception, the groom's and bridal getting ready suite were comfortable and cozy. The outdoor space really added a nice ambience and the string lights indoors and outdoors really made the space pop, especially as the evening went on. All of the staff were great, welcoming, and looked genuinely happy to be there. We also got comments from our guests that even as they were working on serving and cleaning up, some of the staff seemed to be dancing to the music and having a good time, which added to the joy and festivities of the night. We felt absolutely taken care of and looked after the whole day and evening by everybody present.
Summary: We loved the venue, how painless it was to have so many aspects of the planning handled, and the coordination and communication of everybody who assisted us. We would definitely highly recommend to anybody that asks and would be thrilled to attend any event at Market...
Read moreWe recently celebrated our wedding at Market Hall, and it was nothing short of magical! From the moment we first visited the venue, we knew it was the perfect place to begin our forever. The setting is stunning, with historically exposed brick, market lights, and cobblestone streets. The venue is gorgeous, so minimal decor is needed, which helps with costs. Market Hall is all-inclusive and has a chef to do all the catering in-house. They also provide all the furniture, alcohol, seating, china, silverware, etc. This made wedding planning a breeze and reduced the number of vendors we had to hire. The bride and groom suites were the perfect spaces to spend the day relaxing and getting ready before our ceremony. We had plenty of space for over 9 people and an entire hair and makeup team. Market Hall provides lunch and drinks, so we never had to leave the venue once we arrived!
The staff at Market Hall went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We especially appreciate the assistance of Aislynn, Shelly, and Laurel. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for our needs made the planning process stress-free and enjoyable. They were always available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and accommodate any last-minute changes.
On the day of the wedding, everything was executed flawlessly. The ceremony space was beautifully arranged, and the reception hall was decorated exactly as we envisioned. The food was delicious and served with precision, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. Thanks to the hardworking and dedicated team at Market Hall, the event was seamless. Their meticulous planning and execution gave us the confidence to enjoy every moment of our special day.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines elegance, charm, and exceptional service, look no further than Market Hall. It truly made our wedding day a...
Read moreWOW!! We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Market Hall in May 2023, and we cannot say enough good things about them!!! The venue and the staff were absolutely incredible. From the sales director Kristen and the account manager Samantha to the bartending and catering staff- everyone was beyond amazing. We felt so special on our wedding day, because of how attentive, helpful, friendly, and kind everyone was.
Market Hall had EXCELLENT communication with us starting from the very first time we toured the venue. We really appreciated their email reminders/check-ins and communication throughout our planning process. We felt so supported! Management was always quick to return our e-mails anytime we had questions.
Obviously, the setting of Market Hall in City Market, across from Moore Square, is breathtaking- but the building, furniture provided, and details (beautiful string lighting inside as well as in the streets surrounding the venue) are gorgeous as well.
It was important to us to find a venue that had getting ready areas for both the bride AND the groom. Market Hall has 2 separate suites ON SITE, for both the bride and the groom. Not only do they provide space for getting ready- but they also provide drinks and lunch for the bridal parties before the event.
As for the food- WOW! They make the best shrimp & grits that I have ever had. We received SO many compliments from our guests who shared that Market Hall has the best wedding food they have ever had. They have unique and delicious food/appetizer offerings that aren't your "typical" basic wedding food offerings- they were all so amazing and memorable.
We have continued to receive compliments from friends and family who continue to share what a special and amazing experience they had here.
Thank you again to everyone at...
