Today is Sunday, October 29th. We just came back from Amorino. The time on my receipt is 4:59. This is not our first time. We’ve taken all our friends there. And every time everyone is so impressed. We’ll, today would be no different if it wasn’t for two young ladies working behind the counter. It was the end of their shift. They must of had a bad day, I’m not sure why else I was treated that way. I stood in line to place the order for 3 ice creams; then stood in line to get flavors like everyone else. When it was our turn one of the girls asked if I had a ticket. I did not because I never got one which I told her. She tells me that I should first get a ticket. I answered that I already paid and pulled out emailed receipt. Without looking at it she tells me that I should have a ticket anyways. At this point I’m already confused at what the problem is and how is it my fault that they never gave me a ticket. I told her again that I don’t have one. With a nasty attitude the other one told me that: “Well, you should have gotten one then”. And the girl proceeded to help the customers behind us just skipping us altogether. Can you imagine how I felt when I just paid almost $30 for ice cream? She asked a boy at the counter if we paid him, and he just switched with the lady we actually paid to, so of course he said “no”. Luckily the lady was right behind the girl, and we pointed to her, she confirmed that we paid, even though I had emailed receipt right in my hands that the girl never bothered to look at. I don’t know what these ladies had in their minds, I was there with my mom and 2 daughters. Did you think I was trying to steal ice cream? Their customer service skills suck to say the least. I don’t know why the attitude was necessary. We were lucky that it was the end of the girls’ shift and the new guy came in. He was super nice and helped us with our order without questions along with the older lady who we paid to. The lady even apologized which I appreciate. The reason for my review is that I want the manger to have a talk with both young ladies who worked that shift and explain how you deal...

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, Amorino is a veritable little paradise for lovers of Italian sweets. From the moment you enter the store, you're transported to a world of sweet delights, from artisan gelato to colorful macaroons to authentic Italian coffees.
Amorino shines particularly brightly in its gelato. It offers a rich, creamy texture and vibrant flavors reminiscent of the streets of Rome. The flavors available are many and varied, ranging from classics like vanilla and chocolate to more exotic and unique options. Gelato is served in an artistic flower shape that is as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to taste.
In addition to gelato, Amorino also offers a selection of spreads, pastries and delicate macaroons that are equally impressive. The latter, in particular, are a feast for the eyes and palate, with a tantalizing array of flavors and a perfectly balanced texture.
Amorino's coffee is another highlight. Whether you opt for a robust espresso, a creamy cappuccino or a smooth latte, you can expect top-quality coffee that perfectly complements their sweet treats.

The flavors are fresh and different, I enjoyed the Gelato. The store was busy and disorganized, they do the sale backwards where you pay first then choose your flavors and most people who walked in needed an explanation or stood in the wrong line. They do have signs saying step 1 and step 2 but didn't seem to help much. The cashier was nice and explained the different sizes. I ordered and stood in line with my reciept. A couple came in behind me and the person scooping the gelato called them first! I was going to say something but he ignored me, so I didn't. That was unprofessional as I was clearly there first for quiet abit actually. They take such a long time to scoop and organize the gelato, and they are constantly asking each other who is doing what. One person made an error on my order where they almost gave me an extra macaron, then just took it off my gelato and put it back in the window. How about using numbers to keep track of orders? It was such a mess. The gelato is good but not worth the hassle and the...
