Municipal Complex Parking Deck — Local services in Raleigh

This garage used to be great, and the free first two hours is a fantastic program. Unfortunately they've stationed attendants at the gate who turn away customers for seemingly no reason. I've parked in this garage multiple times a week for two years without issues, but recently I've been turned away for what amounts to obvious lies (I've been repeatedly told the garage is full when empty spots are visible and told town council meetings are in session when I know for a fact they're not). I can only assume they're reserving these empty spots for someone, which I take no issue with. I understand that it doubles as a municipal parking lot and they sometimes need to ensure availability for the town/construction workers. What bugs me is the lying. To make matters worse, they refuse to open the gate for you to turn around. I was literally asked to reverse from the second floor until I found enough room to make a 3 point turn. Lastly, the "full parking" sign is often missing or blown over. So on top of everything you have no notice that the lot is full, which makes this lot unreliable if you're trying to...

The Car Park attendant scammed me on August 1st. He was having issues, had the money machine open, and told us to go ahead after we stood out there waiting on him to complete his task. Next thing I know, I get threats about impounding my car if I dont pay $60 to the Car Park. I have tried to send them an email more than once as they had no phone number to call. Still no response, so I figured I would start posting our experience. It seems like a scam to me. He acts like he can't fix or close the machine, and then they get to charge you 4 times the cost. The parking is fine, but the attendee is SUPER DISGUSTINGLY RUDE. I went to ask a simple question about when the parking closes and she was yelling at me (keep in mind it's not a loud parking deck!) About how I shouldn't have an issue paying for my ticket. I wasn't even asking anything about the ticket I was asking about hours bc there is one of those metal arms to leave!
