I wish I could leave no star..This afternoon I went in to buy a tutu for st Patrickās day. I already knew I wanted it. It was just a matter of finding it. There were only two left. The one I picked lit up but only if I held it down. So I brought it up to the front and asked the girl to please show me how to make the lights stay on. She did try which I appreciated and then said I think it only stays on if you hold it... I said that doesnāt make sense how will I wear it out? She said she didnāt know and I said ok, maybe I can tape it on. Will I get a discount? She said sheād have to ask a manger. I asked her to get the manager. She left and came back -no manager and told me I donāt get a discount even if I was willing to fix it myself and that itās supposed to be like that. I thought that didnāt make sense, but fine it is what it is. I was on my way out when I remembered there was a second one. I was curious and turned it on. Only half lit up but IT STAYED ON! So I brought it back to the lady and showed her itās suposed to stay on and that this one too was broken! She then rolled her eyes at me like I bothered her and I just said well if these are broken and you wonāt discount maybe you should keep them off the floor.. and I left. So so unhappy. I wouldāve bought...

I understand that to some Spencer's it's policy to see an ID to be in the back of the store; however, never should one of your employees be yelling at their customers to show some ID. My friend and I were clearly 20 years old and when showing our ID the employee was just saying "mhm" and rolling her eyes. I work as an Assistant Manager for a huge Spencer's competitor (you know who we are) and in no one is her reaction respectful in any way. After we showed our ID's to look at the lava lamps in the back of the store she repeated to yell across the associate at cash wrap that "people be having too much attitude, I just can't." Excuse me, but darling if you were my associate I would've wrote you up on the spot had I heard that. It's called accountability which is something you'll never learn if you stay at Spencer's. Hope you learn how to properly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSabrina is the absolute worst woman I've ever encountered in a spencers ever before. We walked in and the door was positioned in a way that we accidentally walked behind the register. We promptly appologized before she rudly said "that was my register" my husband said "sorry it was an accident"... she rolled her eyes and walked off. We knew what we wanted going in, and were guaranteed to buy it! THIS WOMAN NEEDS TO BE FIRED! SO SO SO RUDE. I went back in to ask her, her name. It was today at 3:50pm, just in case she gave a fake name.. she was a large black lady with a walmart weave and an even worse attitude.
UPDATE: I contacted corporate and the problem was promptly accommodated! We were contacted by the district manager and she was very nice and helpful. She appologized and the associate was spoken to...
