Absolutely delicious! We stopped by for dinner this evening after quite a few recommendations from other people in our neighborhood. The restaurant is surrounded by a lot of abandoned storefronts in the outside portion Triangle Town Center, but that doesn’t take away from its charm and definitely doesn’t take away from its food! The food was flavorful, with large portions. The tandoori chicken was the biggest hit, having been some of the best that we have ever had. We were hoping to eat in the restaurant but things too a small mishap with the fire alarms (the tandoori chicken comes out in a similar fashion as fajitas do and the smoke from the hot plate set the alarm off) we had to take it to go. The food travels extremely well and was still piping hot on the 10 minute drive home. While we were in the restaurant, the staff were extremely kind and helpful, albeit a bit soft-spoken which made it a little bit hard to understand at times. Despite this, they made myself, my husband, and especially our two-year-old feel right at home with small treats and kind check- ins as we waited for our food and packed up everything during the alarms.
I can’t wait to come back especially to try the lunch buffet, one of the few left in Raleigh. Lunch or dinner, definitely give them a try! I’d love to see them succeed and finally have a regular Indian spot in...
Read moreTldr; As a passionate foodie, I believe a great dining experience encompasses both high-quality food and excellent hospitality. My recent visit, unfortunately, fell short on both counts, with the food and atmosphere failing to live up to the prices. I suggest that you focus on a smaller, more refined menu of authentic dishes to improve the overall quality. A more reasonable pricing structure would also better reflect the value of the experience you're providing.
A Disappointing Experience My recent visit to your restaurant was, regrettably, a letdown on multiple levels. While the host was polite, his generalizations were uncomfortable and set a negative tone for the evening. The broad menu also felt mismatched with the restaurant's claimed specialization. The food itself was consistently poor. The fried rice was so bad we didn't even bother to take it home. The garlic naan, while soft, completely lacked garlic flavor. The chole bhature was also far below the standard of other local establishments. For the prices charged, the quality was simply unacceptable. Your restaurant's attempt to present itself as a fine-dining establishment is not reflected in the food, cleanliness, or service. I believe a complete overhaul is...

I recently dined at The Farmers Indian Restaurant , and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, with tasteful decor that reflects the richness of Indian culture.
Now to the food – absolutely phenomenal! Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly spiced. The butter chicken was creamy and rich without being heavy, the biryani was aromatic with perfectly cooked basmati rice, and the garlic naan was fresh out of the tandoor – crispy on the edges and soft in the center. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques.
Special shoutout to the staff – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain dishes and made excellent recommendations based on our preferences.
Whether you’re a long-time lover of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Farmers delivers a memorable and delicious dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back – and...
